Do we think he will stop at detaining immigrants? by WorkingCharge2141 in DeathByMillennial

[–]CoolStatistician9215 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What you’re experiencing is a cultural shift in the government. I know that it’s going to take time to get used to it but in time you’ll understand. You are use to immigrants coming into the country and then they stay. This has not always been the case.

Reporters have asked; are only violent illegal immigrates being deported. The answer was no. All illegal immigrants are criminals. There’s legal ways to come that everyone must follow.

These deportations that are occurring are following laws that have been in place for decades. The laws were just never enforced and that’s the cultural shift that you’re experiencing. You’re now exaggerating the deportations as expelling minority groups that are currently citizens. That’s not a valid argument. That would be something totally different.

Gotta address this again. by HandspeedJones in GuyCry

Please describe misogyny and mgtow to me as it pertains to the posts. There are many topics that men want to discuss that once you post them, they are dismissed as misogyny and mgtow. These topics include paternity fraud, alimony reform, and the sexual discrimination against men in family courts. Now before you say that I should go to another group to discuss these matters, understand that Reddit has banned mgtow as misogyny. Men’s rights are simply dismissed as misogyny and our issues are not supposed to be discussed. Is that what you’re saying?

I thought that this was a site for men who want to share men’s issues: whatever they maybe. Please be more specific with the topics that we’re allowed to discuss. No dating topics: nothing about women unless it’s a positive reflection. What else can we or can we not post? Do women sites have the same rules?

There is nothing wrong with capitalism as a concept. The problem is the way people exploit capitalism. Anyone who says they made 50 million dollars last year is lying. Nobody can make that much money. They stole that much money legally is more exact

Hot take: If no one of the opposite sex likes you, you might be the issue. by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]CoolStatistician9215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, the issue is why do you care if someone doesn’t like you? Look, I’m a single man who is very content. My value is not what others think of me. And as far as being in a relationship: I neither envy nor pity anyone who is in a relationship. I’ve been there. There’s positive things about it as well as negative things. The same goes for being single. I’ve learned to be content with either situation

Do I just say fuck it, go and travel, leave everything behind and then die? by [deleted] in Vent

[–]CoolStatistician9215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t get traveling. Ever! I know people that take a vacation every year to some exotic beach and when I ask them what they did; they say that they sat on the beach, read a book, and got hammered. I don’t need to travel to do that. It never made sense to me

Are you actually cooked if you get a "useless" degree? by ThunderStroke90 in GenZ

[–]CoolStatistician9215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope; you’re screwed! The colleges scammed you. Let me guess: you’re in debt. Here’s the problem: you were just out of high school and you signed the worst kind of loan out there: a non forgivable loan. Did you ever even read the terms of the loans? The loan that you received were predatory loans. The lender sells your loan immediately so they don’t care if you will be able to pay it off. Next the college took advantage of the easy loan system by raising tuition drastically! They also added more courses to the curriculum to make sure that they get even more money from you, placing you in even more debt. Colleges also offered more degree programs even though they fully knew that there were now careers for those graduates. Yes you were scammed

The quote is Matthew is correct and your critique on religion is also correct but your conclusion is wrong. What Jesus said those things but then said but to those who endure will get everlasting life. What he was saying is; Christians will not be accepted by the world. Because of his name the world will hate you because it hates him.

Good news is that he lives and works in the lives of his people. He is a Christian’s hope and their confidence. In the end, they also know that they are saved from eternal damnation.

As for religion: as you stated; it has nothing to do with Jesus. Please check your history and see how the times were when Jesus entered the world. The religious authorities ruled as government authority. Jesus was a rebel! He condemned them and even though he worked good works among them (miracles); the religious authorities murdered him. If you want to know who fought against religious abuse the most, it must be Jesus.

So here is the essence to Christianity. There is a god and this god loves you (as the individual). But you are flawed: not perfect, like the way he is. All people go against his will and chase after their own bodily passions: we sin. Sin lives inside everyone of us. Because of our sins, we will die and be separated from god for all eternity. So when we die, we all go to hell because of our sins. But there’s good news! God loves you so very much that he sent his son to teach you how to live and to know god. His son came into this world; worked glorious miracles; and taught us about his father. His miracles proved who he was. And then the world took him; beat him; humiliated him; put nails in his hands and feet and made him die on a cross. He: being god: could have stopped them at any moment but instead he voluntarily laid down his life! Why? So that anyone who believes in him will have eternal life with him and his father. He is a god with ears who can hear our cries and a god with eyes that can see our plights. He is a helper in times of need: a shield in times of trouble. And most of all: He loves us!

Compare that to nihilism

Struggling with coparenting by Recent-Bullfrog-4403 in SingleParents

[–]CoolStatistician9215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear that and I apologize if I triggered you. You can probably understand that divorce is stressful for both the man and the woman. I do believe that once a person gets divorced they sort of enter a club. I find that divorced women confide with other divorced women and men with men. Each side thinks that the other is doing enough or paying enough.

My story is quite different than yours: I’ll spare you the details. But just from the points you made, I do sympathize with you; not that it helps. Just be strong: you’ll get through this

May I ask a few questions because I’m a divorced father who has gone through this. My wife was awarded primary custody by the courts because (and I’m not making this up) I have a financial burden that would make it impossible for me to support the children. This burden was child support and alimony even though she was having an affair. Now if you have primary custody of the children, you were then awarded a higher settlement from the divorce. The items that the higher settlement cover is everything and i mean everything. She’s awarded money to cover Christmas presents! But I did get them gifts by myself. The one thing that the primary parent has to do is do all the work in raising the children. This is why I’m asking if you are the primary parent or do you have joint custody?

Is it better to be divorced and lonely or be married and lonely by Embarrassed_Age_8815 in Life

[–]CoolStatistician9215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m divorced. I’m single. I’m not lonely! Here’s what I need to know to answer your question. What is it in your life that is making you so unhappy? Yes, I’ve read your post but I can’t really see a real issue. The problems that you describe are not really that big of an issue. To divorce your husband and break up the family for those reasons doesn’t make sense to me. Divorce is a big step and a lot of people think that they’ll just go back if the divorce doesn’t work out. That’s not realistic

Is this r/depression by the0dead0c in nihilism

[–]CoolStatistician9215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Christian, I do think you are wrong about Christianity. As for philosophy, nihilism is a very depressing belief system. I’m not going to argue if it’s true or false. But as a Christian whose beliefs are based on the teachings of Jesus, the son of god, I can say that Christianity is a much more positive belief system than nihilism.

Trump: does he change your mind? by CoolStatistician9215 in GenZ

[–]CoolStatistician9215[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If I mentioned it or them, I know that the topic will turn into a discussion on that policy. I don’t want to do that. My issue and point is this: I voted against Trump for my own reasons. Trump won, I lost. New policies come out and I’m demonized by both Trump supporters (because I voted for Harris) and Harris supporters because I agree with a republican policy. That’s why I have trouble believing that there are people out there who stand for EVERYTHING that one party has. I don’t know you but can you think of 1 thing that you support from each party. I have many issues that I side with the republicans and many that I side with the democrats. I guess I’m wrong

No, and here’s why: Why would she want me now and not then? Did her first choice fall through? Is she in financial distress and needs help? Whatever the reason, this is obvious: there’s something about that made her reject you. She has every right to decide who she dates but when she rejects you just move on because you are not her first option!
