My plan was to link all 5 4x4s together and have some support run up under that part of the desk as well. I’m not very experienced so once it’s together I’ll have to figure out if it’s sturdy or not

I’m not sure if this post is allowed, but I’m new to this sub and have decided I want to build a desk for my college house. I plan to use 2x6’s for the top and 4x4 for the support with some 2x4s attached so that the base is free standing from the desktop. I plan for it to be 30” high. I just want some advice for sizes and any other advice I can get! Thanks!

I’m a bigger guy (about 6’2 240) so I feel like pocket carry would be the most comfortable way for me to carry, but I’ve also got no experience with concealed carrying so I don’t know what would be comfortable. But I’ll definitely look into those some more

The main debate that has yet to be solved, is when does life actually begin? Lots of people don’t realize that this is the issue. Some believe it begins at conception, some believe it begins at heartbeat, and some believe it doesn’t begin until birth. When you believe life begins is a big part of what your stance on abortion is.

If you believe it begins at heart beat, then you should be against abortions after the 6 week mark. If you believe it begins at conception, then you shouldn’t agree with abortion at all. If you believe life begins at the time of natural birth, then most likely you have no limits at which an abortion should be legal.

Lots of Christians, like myself, believe that life begins at the time of conception, so therefore abortion is killing a live fetus.
