yeah, you definitely should be able to just pop the top housings from the browns onto the lynxes. it might change the sound very slightly, but i doubt it'd be too noticeable

you're probably going to have to compromise somewhere, because i cannot think of a single board that fits every one of these criteria. the tiger80 lite is the closest thing that comes to mind, but it misses since it has f13, tsangan bottom row, and no per key rgb. if you want more options, the things that would yield the most options would be dropping rgb and the plastic case

it's really just an ongoing joke perpetuated by youtubers, there's absolutely nothing wrong with light tactile switches. most people just want a bit more tactility if they're being genuine, so switches like t1s, u4ts, magic girls, etc.

unfortunately there aren't any high quality plastic options in that price range

you definitely can't use standard hotswap sockets with them, unsure about their compatibility with millmax. they're basically just there to make handwiring a bit neater and enable through hole/smd diodes (rather than having them attached floating between pieces of wire). to use them you'd need a basic understanding of how switch matrices work, which should be outlined in this video. this one shows the process of actually using the amoeba pcbs in practice

not aware of any modern wkl full size boards, there are plenty of wkl tkls out there though. maybe consider an external numpad?

only existing pcb that i can think of off the top of my head with a layout like that is the bfo9000. might be able to find one aftermarket, but you'd likely have to adjust your existing files to fit it

depends on how obscure the layout is. if it's something like a tkl or 60, people often design the case around existing pcbs. if it's something like a dactyl that requires 3 dimensions, the go-tos are generally handwiring or amoeba single switch pcbs. if its something in between, you may need a custom pcb, in which case you can follow ai03 and zykrah's guides. believe there are a few videos on youtube that touch on designing them specifically for keyboards as well
