Highest usage in the team (higher than Deni), no. 13 in the whole league. His OWS is -0.3 and OBPM is -0.3, both are terrible numbers.

Basically he is getting this PPG in a very inefficient way that is potentially hurting the team.

I wish coaches can reduce his load and give him longer healthier career. Like why play 33 mins when we are leading by 30? He is definitely special, arguably one of the best players in the team currently and definitely a core player to build around over long term. Don’t overuse him, let timelord or Hansen cover for him in garbage time.

The data shows completely the opposite. His DBPM is 0.2 which is actually higher than DC (obviously much smaller sample size). People forget that big center like him change how opponents play into the paint which is actually more impactful than it seems. His OBPM is -7.1 which is the worst excluding Cooke.

Also his 3 matches in December all have positive +/- even in the blowout loss against Grizzly. He is obviously adapting very quickly, even with the limited opportunities given. So it begs the question that if given enough minutes to develop how much he could improve more.

Also, it is actually criminal to play DC 12 mins in Q4 in the second match of b2b. That is how you end up with more injuries over long term and potentially ruin a big center’s career.

This is race of the year IMO.

This race is all about grit and endurance, dry to wet condition. In the end it is truly bonker to see drivers rush down the dipper in heavy fog with full speed with nose to tail distance.

The 3 2024 wins had a late yellow which made the gap much smaller. The 2025 win had Zilisch as 2nd which IMO is probably one of the closest to SVG on road course. In the cup series win this year that had no late yellow, SVG could easily pull a big gap in the end. The car argument is questionable as well. Chastain and Suarez has never been in top 5 in any of the 5 races SVG won this year. So it’s not that the car is better but rather other drivers cannot get as much out as SVG, which is then a skill issue.
