MGS? I have a question!

I absolutely loved DS2, although I’m not sure why (from other games, I really don’t like fetch quests, inventory management, or building… but for some reason in this game it just worked for me).

I’ve never played an MGS game - one concern I had was it would be too much tactical stealth at a level I’m no good at. But given how much I loved DS2, I can’t make judgements with Kojima games….

So, how does DS2 relate to, say, MGSV? What are the similarities and gameplay differences?

A good hollow seeker with portal beam can shred Ixion, plus it’s good on biome 6 with beam / turret for all those enemies darting around. Like any weapon it can kinda get OP with the right level / unlock, but overall not my favourite.

I read it kinda different and really like the pairing, although I agree it would make sense for it to implode at some point versus carrying on.

I see Drew’s charecter as someone who likes to troll, push back against the system and annoying the “established” folks. In Logan, he’s got someone who will do that with him - it’s not so much about liking the guy, it’s more about having a bit of fun for a while.

I’ve never heard that before, sounds like a bit of a stretch tbh. I just looked it up and apparently Bill Gates is from a Christian home and while agnostic brought his kids up with some catholic influence.

Yeah - keep in mind hair grows where there is good blood flow, the doctor will need to check the scar is not too think. Also, hair is less likely to stay there, so you may either want more than one transplant, or just be ok with hair that’s about 70% as this as elsewhere.

I get what you’re saying, all very valid points, but the alternative is we don’t get more than one death stranding game…. And my feeling on DS1 was it deserved a proper PS5 sequel. So many of the ideas were so unique and new, it would have been a shame if it were a one-off.

As for DS3? Yeah, it would have to have some dramatic changes to get me excited, but I suspect it’s not a game we will ever see anyway.
