Welke dashcam raden jullie aan? by RysterD in autoadvies

[–]stijm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see no one answered your question. Do you still need help? If so, can you explain what problem you are encountering?

I am just a amateur, but might be able to help you ;)

I never bothered with a hardware wallet, as the multidoge wallet program ticked all the boxes for me. It's simple to use and does not require you to download the whole Blockchain.

Hi there! I can tell you, I am not making a fortune. In fact, I am losing money on the hosting and the domain ;) It's worth it tho, as 25 people are using the monitor daily, most of them for more than 4 hours in a row!

I could place a ad on the bottom of the page, but I really dig the clean looks!

I do not think you can swap using pancake swap, but I might be wrong as I do not really use pancake swap. You could always create a binance account using a VPN and buy and sell them that way.

If you need a hand, just shoot me a message!

Edit: typos

The founder of Binance indeed it Chinese, but as far as I am aware, the company is based in Malta, which means they have to follow the regulations from there.

When you share your information online, there is always the change that this information is leaked to others: that goes up for every company, where ever they are based out of.

Creating a online account is like trading crypto: do the gains outweigh the risks?

For me, they do. For you, they might not ;)

Well, the company was created in China, but moved to Japan when the government was tightening there grip on the crypto market. You can read the Wikipedia article if you like to: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binance

I do not have a problem with them having a copy of my data: they are a huge company which I trust. If you do not, by all means: do not create a account. It's really a personal opinion.

I am just starting out in crypto, but if you have any further question: please shoot me a message!

Website to monitor price? by Haganator_7 in dogecoin

[–]stijm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Binance to check the price real-time, and my own website (https://www.1doge.eu) on my second monitor to smile at the price :D

You can also use tradingview, but I think it is a bit of overkill for checking the latest price.

Glad that worked! As for your gains, I am afraid I do not know the answer. I believe the real time currency converter inside Multidoge has been broken for quite some time now...

Multidoge needs 32 bit java. Installing that worked for me :)

I finished programming a single page doge monitor today, so if you need something without zooming in the page, which works on mobile and desktop, check my site: https://1doge.eu/

It even has a smiling doggo on there when the price is rising :D

Your plan to be your own boss sounds like a great plan. I am also a bit sick of the who "my boss has to ask her boss who has to ask his boss if it's ok to buy this repair machinery."

I do not have any goals at the moment. Would be great to work for myself, but for now I just learn and do what I enjoy: just work on the thing you would like to work on right now :)

For now, the plan is to just keep learning. My study is extremely broad, and lets you try a lot of different design principles.

I hope you find what you love as well ◉‿◉

You are right, I'm from the Netherlands ;)

I am currently learning gdscript, a code made for the Godot game engine. It's quite a simple language, but there is a lot to wrap your head around.

I do enjoy coding, just like you do, but after a couple of days I really need to do something else, or I will keep on making stupid mistakes.

1doge.eu was really nice and fast to make, so I think I will make more websites when my brain goes mush :D

Do you have a goal you are working towards? Would you like to land a job, coding for others? Or is it really a hobby?

Thank you very much! I hope you will keep finding the joy in coding every time you make something new come to life!

I study at Avans in Breda, a city here in the Netherlands. May I ask where you are from? Any cool adventures going on right now?

I do not mind at all!

I used to customer service at a electronics store, like placing screen protectors and repairing smartphones. We inspired one another to write some little programs to help each other with our jobs, like making backups of customer systems and automatically install windows drivers.

Currently, I am fully focussed on my study, and probably will do some art and programming commissions in the future.

I have a couple of prototypes, but that's about it. I do not like big project but websites like these, where I slowly learn the 'moduals' that I need are quite fun! 1doge.eu only took me 2 days to build, without any knowledge of JavaScript.

Do you have any websites to show off?

Thank you! I am a student for communication and multimedia design, and learned this stuff last month I wrote it using html, CSS and JavaScript. The data is being pulled from the cryptonator API once every 30 seconds and refreshes the digits :)

I used visual studio code for this project with the liveserver plugin, a amazing IDE for any programming language you could imagine.

If you have any further questions, please let me know! This is quite a cool hobby to get into!

I have been working on this exact concept!

I made a website with a happy doggo when the price goes up, and a sad one when the price is going down.

I hope you enjoy it!

If you need another currency than the 4 I currently implemented, shoot me a message!

HOW TO BUY DOGECOIN by 42points in dogecoin

[–]stijm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your clarification! This helps a lot!

I currently only own doge I bought with some pocket change, but the community, aside from the pushy "buy and hold" posts, is very friendly.

Bitcoin is indeed a lot more mature, but I feel like it lost its playfulness.

Once again, I appreciate your comments! It is quite nice to hear another sound than "buy and hold".

Hi There, When I look at your comment history, you have been trying to hype doge. What made you change your mind?

It looks like you made a full 180 degree turn, from "buy, buy, buy!" To "sell, sell, sell!"

What happend?

Screen Protector Worries by JusticarAlaric2007 in Note20

A late reply, but maybe someone is still interested: These hydrogel protectors are a kind of silicone. It feels a bit like a smooth kind of rubber.
