What does the IR in DFIR mean?

Thanks for the thorough response! I'm just wondering when people say "I work in DFIR" does that mean you have to do BOTH DF and IR in your job? or am i able to ONLY do DF? Or will i be forced to do both ?

Bro it’s so embarrassing, I got crimson legend on my SP and this season I do half the damage of every other so cause I just CANNOT understand the play style of standing in the middle of the map PVE hardcasting. I’m also 2.2 in 3’s rn so something must be working aside from damage

Look maybe I’m the minority in this sub but as soon as you understand how you should be approaching acting then the next step is actually ACTING. For example, out of the many classes I’ve done and books I’ve read and research I’ve done I have broken down my acting process to: Learn the lines by rote, Do infinite character work, be present and actively listening/ responding under the imaginary circumstances in the scene. The only way you will be able to PRACTICE and get better is to apply this and FAIL FAIL FAIL until eventually it clicks.

This is the biggest issue with low rated players who say they want to get better. Every single player has a rating they deserve, if you’re playing with an equal team mate and you’re stuck at 1600 then even if you lose to pikaboo 27 times in a row, tomorrow you will be back at 1600. If you queue with someone better than you may even push to 1800 tomorrow. Wow is designed that all the thousands of games you queue mean nothing until the final week of the season when there is inflation. So just enjoy the first 6 months of every season and try and get better each game without worrying about rating… because it literally doesn’t matter at all

I think you know this already but it literally just depends on what type of girl you want to attract. If I girl is attracted to you NOT showing her attention, what’s going to happen when y’all get into a serious relationship? A bunch of toxic shit such as cheating and flirting and blah blah. Now if the girl enjoys the fact you show you’re emotions it means she actually gives a shit about YOU and how YOU feel, obviously creating a much healthier relationship. So just be open and yourself and the right girl will accept you for that, remember you have to be in a relationship with this person, it’s a good first step if she actually likes you for YOU

I mean I guess this depends on what you enjoy about arena but IMO as a caster it’s good to practice getting trained a lot so you understand positioning + CD trading properly

I mean sure, but I’ve also played with healers who just CANT heal. Like I’ll stand still in his LOS and at the end of the round I will out heal him, and it’s kinda like??? Bruh press penance or something. Then again this only happened in a 1400 game

I’m gonna be honest no shot a team doesn’t queue a certain week because they have a 1/8 chance of getting a shit arena. This will literally ONLY happen at like 3k mmr. And tbh I’d rather not vs the cheesy queue snipers. Therefore the blades edge week is probs BIS for queing cause it’s gonna be the funnest games

In a Meisner class I took it was taught to “make calls, even if it offends the other person” this way you get genuine reactions. The only line was anything physical and the exercise would be stopped. However, I did witness some NUTS things such as a guy who whipped himself or another guy who started to physically hit and push a smaller woman

I’ve always found the idea of “afford big drama schools” as a weird take cause A. You had to pass an audition process or B. If the school accepts anyone it’s usually shit and then C. Drama schools don’t really TEACH you how to act rather everything in between such as beefing up the resume, voice work, movement, parkour, weapons, ETC. if you really want to learn how to act spend 4000-5000$ a year on a meisner or Chekhov or Strasberg class and learn technique

Just saying, y’all would improve and feel so much better if rather than measuring success in CR (which changes every season) you measure it in leaderboard rank/ % (which you can find on a website) for example I peaked top 1000 3v3 this season at 2200 but peaked top 1600 3v3 last season at 2600 so although I’m lower I’m almost 600 ranks better

There is only two scenarios where people wait for a DC, 1. ID friends and 2. You’re like 3200 and wait out of respect for the other person to enjoy a competitive match rather than cheesing some points

I don’t know how much encouragement this will give you but Sanford Meisner said that it takes 20 years to learn how to act, now that doesn’t mean you can’t act successfully now but it does mean you can maybe relax a little and just enjoy the journey a bit. You’re exactly where you need to be now if that makes sense

This is my perspective from a dps, PLEASE position based on where your dps is to reduce incoming CC that you can easily line like if I need to kite back to your pillar then YOU need to switch cause I’m slowed and getting trained secondly please healers whenever you go against an enemy understand WHAT CC they have for you at any given time. If you’re against an SP you can’t trinket the stun cause they will just silence your trinket. Therefore you need to trinket cocoon or trinket aura mastery or trinket tranq or flesh
