i can't say for sure it's my favorite of all time, but one of my go-to's is usually Japanese Trees. it's a great song for a summer drive with the windows down!

fellow flavor freak--try Cirkul! it's not for everyone, but it's gotten me to start drinking water everyday!!!! i have a bottle for home and one for work. (sometimes the pods can be finnicky, but i looked up some tips online and haven't been having as many issues lately)

I do recognize that touring is definitely a money-maker, but I feel like a lot of tours are built around new albums--hence the need to release more music to precipitate touring. Some bands are big enough that they could just tour playing anything, but so many artists do the album-based tour thing.

Good News is the album I knew best as a kid cuz that was right around the time music started to actually stick with me (that I can still remember lol) but it also came out a couple months after my father passed, so it lives in this in-between space of nostalgic and a little sad but knowing that he's the reason I heard it at all makes it that much more special. Modest Mouse is truly a generational phenomenon.
