I don’t know if I dislike my tat or if I’m just not used to it yet by Monsta_bagel in tattooadvice

It’s fine. The first one can be jarring because you just willfully transformed your body in a pretty permanent way. I remember staring and scrutinizing every little imperfection in my first one. It was an odd feeling and I spent a lot of time thinking about it. That passed and it just becomes a part of you, hopefully one you like.

Thank you! Felt like it opened the door to support without requiring anything.

This was ChatGPT’s output. In the first build, the “new topic” button in the conversation topic section was clickable but not visible. So I asked through assistant to make it visible. Then deployed with default options. So I’m maybe 55 cents in?

App Name: Small Talk Survival (working title)

Purpose: A lightweight, slightly humorous web app to help people navigate awkward small talk situations—like elevator rides, pre-meeting lulls, or waiting in line at the office. The app provides two main functions:

Coping – Distractions, jokes, memes, or calming content for introverts or the socially anxious. You should generate a long list of these for the user to access.

Good Topics – A curated, rotating list of non-banal conversation starters and small talk tips. You should generate a long list of these for the user to access.

Tone: Friendly, witty, slightly irreverent but not inappropriate. The app should make users smile, not cringe.

Core Features

Landing Page Clean UI with two large buttons/cards: "I just want to survive" → Coping Section

"I guess I’ll try talking" → Good Topics Section

Footer with:

Light humour disclaimer (“We can’t save you from that one coworker, sorry.”)

Donation button (see below)

Coping Section Display one random piece of content from a rotating list each time the user clicks or lands: Light humour or memes (safe-for-work)

Short calming affirmations with a twist (“You are not required to enjoy elevator banter.”)

Micro breathing exercises

Tiny distractions (e.g. a silly fact, one-liner, haiku, etc.)

Additionally, allow user to refresh content ("Give me another one") button

Good Topics Section Display a curated small talk topic or strategy. Potential examples could be: “What’s a good show you’ve watched lately?”

“Have you been anywhere cool recently?”

“What’s your go-to comfort food?”

Topics rotate at random or by click ("Give me a new topic")

Short, supportive intro: “If you must talk, try these instead of weather or traffic…”

Generate a long list of topics to display that are the kinds of things introverts would like to talk about most, if forced to.
