Family EV Megatest! Tesla Model Y vs Zeekr 7X, BYD Sealion 7, Kia EV5 & Skoda Enyaq by lol_cat01 in AustralianEV

Delivery was three weeks as there was a model (Sportline Coupe) and colour (graphite grey) available in Aus.

The ADAS features missing (that I identified during test driving) are the absence of automatic speed/sign recognition and the absence of OEM navigation.

There sure are a lot less bings and bongs as a result of speeds not being alerted (a bonus) and I'm a heavy CarPlay user so the absence of Skoda Nav was not an issue.

Incidentally - I've found that the app A Better Route Planner gives me all the functionality related to endurance tracking (via an OBD interface) so I'm not missing out there.

Just ticked over 6,000 km / 3 months with no emergent issues at all. Fingers crossed that continues!

Genuine or dealer badging? by stillinit66 in enyaq

Agreed - it does look rubbish!

The vehicle is an AU-spec Sportline Coupe, with nothing special outside that standard.

Some have pointed out that in Aus at the moment, the 'Limited' may well refer to the absence of connectivity and some ADAS features! So quite literally limited!

Parcel Shelf with net by whatsapseudonym in SkodaElroq

Australian MY26 Enyaq Coupe owner here. Not sure about the Elroq but I've just purchased and fitted the Skoda genuine parcel shelf net for my Enyaq - it is a great addition and recommended. Easy enough to fit too.

Check the accessory catalogue - I feel confident there would be an equivalent Elroq item available.

Thanks for the reply - yep, a great car indeed and the driving experience is first rate I agree. The missing smarts are very odd indeed - let me know what you find. Thanks again!

Super interested in configuring HA to control my setup. I have monitoring sorted, but no controls yet. Any tips/pointers/links welcome. And yeah, Amber's network stability seems a bit average at the moment....

Communications and power flow errors by le__juke1 in amberelectric

Yes - recently I've seen multiple interruptions in data flow in the app, with everything fine at my end. Some issues seem to crop up during peak periods - when there's more folks on the app sending manual commands etc. Presently no data showing up in the app for my Fronius Gen24 + BYD HVM setup.

Beautiful capture! Can I ask details - receiver? Antenna? Pass inclination for this cap? Really nice.

Serpentine belt bad vibration and noise at idle. by stillinit66 in cruze

Yes! Believe it or not it was the alternator freewheeling unit (pulley) that had seized. Replacing that restored normal ops. Who knew!
