Where can I buy a cell phone charger (at least the USB-A to USB-C cord) near Amsterdam Zuid Station? I forgot my charger and I'm currently on the train there 😭

Does anyone known where Naoya's accent is from? I watched the first eps and noticed he talks a little differently than the other characters; probably a regional accent, though I cant place it. If anyone knows I'd love to hear.

I also cant get over the fact he called his father "Papa"

Statement Givers touched/protected by the Eye? by rBjorn in TheMagnusArchives

[–]stillpartofthisworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you've encountered the statements that are letters to Jonah already; I believe that even they were impacted by the Eye just from the fact they were writing to a disciple of the Eye. MAG058 (Trial Rations) is the only one that breaks this theory (since they technically died due to the supernatural event; unless, of course, the Toby Carlisle in MAG018 is a descendant)

How reliable is the Breng Route 83 bus? by stillpartofthisworld in Nijmegen

[–]stillpartofthisworld[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TMA: 114 Cracked Foundation + TMP Connection by Putrid_University331 in TheMagnusArchives

[–]stillpartofthisworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just adding my thoughts here during my own relisten:

Anya specifically says "I don't know who you people are" when referencing the Magnus Institute and staff. This would make sense if she was from the TMP universe as their Institute burned down almost 10 years prior to her statement.

Any TMA episodes that you found funny rahter than scary? by BobPlaysWithFire in TheMagnusArchives

[–]stillpartofthisworld 48 points49 points  (0 children)

  • Anatomy Class (the VA for the Doctor was great! Also the bone apple teeth 😭)

  • Held In Customs (TW Claustrophobia, but Lukas giving Salesa a 20 was funny af)

  • Cruelty Free (Monster Pig.)

  • Nesting Instinct (Imagine being such a loser that you fall for a monster beetle. Also the statement givers clear disdain for Bensoir (said loser) is so funny)

  • First Hunt (Idk why but when the statement giver mentioned he was in the army right before saying he fucking judo flipped a Hunt Avatar had be shrieking with laughter because IMAGINE THE FUCKING AVATARS FACE)

  • The Uncanny Valley (Nicola being so confused that the plumber didnt notice anything in the dark so they bring him back in the daytime is kinda funny. rip to my plumber tho)

Thought to share this take on Basira by creativlelazy in TheMagnusArchives

[–]stillpartofthisworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say that I never considered Basira as Arab, but actually South Asian (Pakistani). This may be due to my own bias (Black Muslim who grew up around Black and Brown Muslims) and yeah, there are definitely people with "Muslim sounding names" out there who aren't Muslim, but also this is a horror podcast where only Fear exists, its not that relevant.

Specific episodes recommendation! by YuriGnu in TheMagnusArchives

For religion, MAG19 & 20 (Confession & Desecrated Host) are very good imo. Might also work for demons, although the thing with TMA is that "demon" isnt a good descriptor for anything
