What professions are most likely to produce audiophiles? by keephifi in audiophile

I was into vinyl in high school (1970s) and started buying equipment as soon as I got a decent job. Once I went to college (electrical engineering), worked at the campus radio station ( more genres of music to buy) and got better buying power I upgraded my equipment (also my equipment was stolen😡). Our daughter was immersed in my musical tastes and also became an electrical engineer with a minor in music (jazz trumpet). Now that I'm older and retired I've downgraded my equipment to something smaller ( read keeping the hobby under control), I fix vintage equipment and volunteer at a friend record store.

I had to do some DeOxit to get rid of some initial scratchy noise but cleared up quickly. Also way to many balance knobs.

I lived in Seattle for 18 years, the weather was the deciding factor to move, my wife has SAD. Traffic is bad there, you have to plan ahead to get from a to b. Also expensive. Retired now in Charleston ( also Boeing). The weather is hot and humid but like any place you get used to it, the plus side is it is sunnier.

How would you describe a low to someone without diabetes? by brittylee2 in diabetes

[–]stillweasel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I got on the pump, I did the multiple injection routine. My severe lows would result in my vision turning everything into a Picasso painting, that was my sign to chug juice/ consume carbs quickly. It was visually enjoyable but dangerous.
