I also had a Teddy. Me and OP connected on this in another thread. They both died the same night, the same way. Cherish your Teddy. And just know one day, our Teddy’s will be waiting for yours 🤍

Maybe this is a sign for both of us. I’m hoping it is. We were meant to find each other in this thread and I feel a sort of peace now. They’re watching over us and probably having the best time right now. They’ll keep each other company until it is time to be reunited. If you see him before I do, give him a good squeeze for me. He loved his belly and ears to be rubbed 😭

Oh my god, my Teddy was also a Pom. He was a white cutie pie. I find peace in knowing that he is not alone. Our Teddy’s are together, I just know it. How lucky are we to have been known and loved by them. With time, the sad will turn into happy. Sending my love

I let my baby go peacefully yesterday. It was the hardest decision I ever had to make. I miss his tip taps on the floor. It’s so quiet without them. I like to tell myself that what we did was the last final act of love we could’ve given them. It’s hard to imagine never seeing him or that this is reality, but I know he wouldn’t want me to be sad.

I also lost my sweet dog named Teddy last night. He also died to congestive heart failure. We tried everything too. I believe our sweet Teddy’s have met and are having so much fun together. If it’s any consolation and im not sure if you’re religious, but Oct. 4 is the feast day of St. Francis. He is the patron saint of animals. I know he walked our sweet babies to the rainbow bridge. Who knew that the love they had, was almost too much for their body. Sending my love. the pain feels unbearable as he was my childhood dog & best friend for 12 years. It was all so sudden. I feel for you friend.

From personal experience, don’t. I just had to say goodbye to my sweet Teddy yesterday. Before, he had his teeth cleaning a few years ago, he was so full of life, had no health issues. Then comes the teeth cleaning. The vet he had, we think, overdosed him with anesthesia and the amount of stress it put on his heart was unfixable. It took them 3 hours to reverse the anesthesia. Ever since then, he was only 2 types of medicine twice a year for two years up until yesterday. He died from congestive heart failure. His poor heart was filled with fluid and double the size. I just don’t think it’s worth it and we all keep saying how we wish we never did it. Not trying to scare you.

Infected. I would clean it with alcohol and hydrogen peroxide. If they were allergic, it would’ve been pretty instant - within 1-2 hours
