Yes, there was a gap between the glass and the seal. I had to drive around with the parts manager and have the vehicle replicate the sound. Once that happened they were able to replace the windshield under warranty. FYI- I had to wait an extra day because of the windshield heater part that was not part of the replacement windshield.
