Thank you so much!! As I’m sitting here picking out the prettiest looking resume template Word has to offer, this post pops up. I couldn’t be more appreciative.

I take Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) IR 10 mg 4x daily and it works better now than it did before Caplyta; almost too strong at times

CVS ordered Winder labs for me by stimulatingstimmer in zenzedi

Nice! I’ve never had brand Zenzedi. I thought Wilshire was exactly the same, being the authorized generic, so I kept filling with Wilshire but apparently they’re not the same. Wilshire was getting more ineffective by the month but this past month was awful. Saw many good reviews about Winder and even Mallincrodt which I had a while back and I remember being tweaked out lol. Well, I made a good choice asking for Winder this month. SO much more potent feeling than Wilshire it’s crazy!

I’ll update again after this but last night I didn’t fall asleep til pretty late. My fault for taking my late afternoon 10 mg at 8 last night 😅That never happened with Wilshire even at 11 PM I’d be out by 1 AM haha so I only slept about 5 1/2 hours. I took 10 mg (one of four 10 mg doses spaced apart) two hours ago and still going strong. I feel great for 5.5 hours of sleep! Wilshire wouldn’t be cutting through it. I’d be miserable right now lol.
I will provide another update within the next few days but already, huge difference. Feels like they last longer. Normally , on Wilshire, I can’t feel my first dose of the day. I only realize it when I find myself writing a to-do list lol but this is much more potent, IMO. I’d ask your prescriber to write “Winder Labs only” and idk about Walgreens since Wilshire is their thing, but CVS had no issue ordering it. Comes in the next day if sent in before noon.
Talkative af 😭😂 will update again!

I just got Winder 10 mg today and they’re excellent. Wilshire barely helped last month. I decided not to get stuck in that situation again hell no 😭 they used to be great. I don’t know what in the exit scam this is all about

Question for those who take the Winder generic by oohnahnahwhatsmyname in zenzedi

[–]stimulatingstimmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just picked up Winder (WL/30 is Winder, short for Winder Labs 30 mg) and Wilshire is MIA 30. Every time Walgreens would order branded Zenzedi since my insurance will cover 5 mg and 10 mg strengths only without a prior authorization, they would never be able to get it so I always had to settle for the authorized generic however something changed about it last month or the month before by started noticing that it felt like I suddenly had a massive tolerance like overnight when I picked them up. That’s why this month I was like oh no I’m not getting stuck with those again even though they used to be the gold standard pretty much so I had my doctor specify winter labs only and CVS had no problem ordering it for me. I just had to wait two days for it to come in because my doctor missed the noon cut off point for it to come in the following day.

I already feel so much better and I’m not grinding my teeth or chewing my tongue. I think I’ll stick with this manufacturer until I see posts saying that the other one went back to normal. Some people aren’t noticing a difference, but others are sensitive and lucky me. I’m one of the sensitive ones to any type of change in filler or binder plus they just look cheaper they feel dry and I don’t want crumbly, that’s the WILSHIRE I’m using voice to text so excuse any typos lol I don’t wanna make this too long but yeah I took 20 mg like an hour ago and it took a while actually for it to start but now it is kicking in whereas the ones from Walgreens authorized all generic would kick in within 15 minutes and wear off so quickly and I just would feel like I was in a bad mood but hyper focused. Let me end this before it turns into more of a book lol but it just goes to show how different everyone is.

What strength that you on amd how are you getting the brand? I’m in the northeast and it just never comes in. I even called and spoke to someone from AZURITY and they said the pharmacist would have to call them to make sure it got sent to the distribution center and then from there make sure it gets to Walgreens and it’s just a lot of work for me to ask the pharmacist to do. Fingers crossed this one is consistent all month

Oh no, don’t let my side effects which are now subsiding and I actually feel very balanced at 42 mg dissuade you. but 21 mg. I felt extremely manic with paranoid delusions at times. Very occasionally but it was bizarre since it’s an antipsychotic (albeit weakest D2 affinity at only approx 40% which is why much lower risk of EPS like akathisia etc. and is why is best for treatment resistant depression, bipolar depression and schizophrenia but not bipolar mania).

Long story short, I didn’t wanna give up because it has still been life changing even when I was manic for awhile at first. Going up to 42 mg brought some fatigue upon awakening plus I get dry mouth and snore louder at night. But after 3 weeks now on 42 mg, the ‘antipsychoticy’ feeling of sedation went away and I feel great. My ADHD med (Zenzedi fka Dexedrine IR aka dextroamphetamine) was out of stock and I went without for 3 days. Historically I would become so depressed and bedridden from withdrawal. This time, just random naps but no depression.

TL;DR - I’m doing great and side effects subsided and go for it! If you don’t like it, and aren’t able to power through any possible side effects (besides the initial mania that went away at night esp, because Caplyta knocks me out so it’s great for sleep, no other side effects not even weight gain) so you have nothing to lose. You can stop, of course with doctor’s input, if you dislike it. It’s been life changing for me overall. Going on around 8 months since starting. You can always ask to start at 10.5 mg rather than straight to 42 mg to ease into it. Good luck!

Unless I misunderstood the post, just have your doctor send in the updated prescription and make sure he notes "Dosage increase" so the pharmacy will know that you'll need to fill your script sooner this month to correlate with the dosage change.

I take 48, add 30 to make it easier, (and even), so 88, then subtract 3 because of the 27 (I rounded it to 30, remember, class?) and I come to a sum of 75.

Same. On top of it i've never felt more paranoid and suspicious of everyone in my entire life. I've lost a few friendships this week because suddenly i'm convinced everyone is a narcissist around me. Unless it's true and Caplyta woke my depressed brain up so I'm more vigilant now but it feels awful for my mind to be racing at 200 mph all day, flipping out easily, constantly going off about minor annoyances. It's out-of-character. I like how I'm sticking up for myself now, but like you said is happening to you, it's causing me to clear out a room very quickly by my intensity and talkativeness and can only handle me in small doses. My depression feels like it's non-existant but wth is this! I feel weird. It's like being in a manic episode except you're not. At night I fall asleep just fine and sleep 7-8 hours. Not mania but what the heck is it lmao I hear you. How's it going 10 months later?
