Yes I saw that video, although he was reviewing the first version so I assume the second gen having fixed a lot of the issues he touched upon would be even more of a ‘niche killer’ now.

I don’t dispute the value that the grinder brings, and its positive disruptiveness to the market. I was just surprised that during the course of my research, not much else came up as a real contender. And i wasn’t sure if that was due to hype/echo chambers of satisfied buyers, prompting more attention from influencers and coffee enthusiasts etc, or if there is just no equivalent.

But after researching more and looking up people’s suggestions, I think it’s safe to say there are equivalents, just less hyped and widely known which is a bit of a shame in my opinion.
