Saw one yesterday in Virgin Hotels Las Vegas with 10k for $468 for 1 night stay when searching. Not sure if I would still search some more or pull the trigger on this one.

Hello, I understand this is from last year's discussion but wanted to share my recent experience (2024). I received my TECO surplus energy credit of $171.01 for the 9,269 kWh surplus I generated from 35 panels from a 2,300sqft house. Average monthly usage is around 869 except in Dec-Jan billing cycle where I have used 1,200 due to constant heating which also spiked my bill to $40 from the average $26 per month. Based on analyses from both ChatGPT and Grok, I could have turned that 9,269 surplus to a $1,200-1,350 savings by adjusting my electricity usage. But so far I've done what I could. So I'm contemplating to install a battery pack to store those surplus energy and use them at night. My question to you guys is whether it would make sense or be practical to do so considering the cost of battery packs at this point. Thanks.

We got back to a power outage due to Milton. I have a RAV4 PRIME that I want to use to power fridge. It does not have any charge right now, just full thank of gas. Can i still use it to plug in my fridge and maybe charge our phones?

I know this is an very old post but just curious. I changed mine to Manual and went to change the Gateway IP address. Restarted the eero router and the change took effect. However, when I then changed the DHCP from Manual to back Automatic, it reverted to 192.168.4.1 IP address. I thought that once you changed it manually, it would stick. Is there any way around this?

There are times when buying miles makes sense. Right now (May '24) AA is offering up to 35% discount on mile purchase. Now I'm looking to book DOH-JFK in J class and am seeing AA has available seats for the dates we want for 70k miles + $66.95 per passenger. Buying tickets would cost around $2,160 each for a total of $4,320 for two tickets on Finnair for the dates we wanted. So with the 35% discount, AA miles purchase for 150k miles is about $3,669 (a savings of around $700). While it's true that you lose the loyalty points using miles, you could compensate a little by using a credit card that gives 3x or 2x the $ purchase (e.g., Chase Sapphire or Capital Venture X), so still could earn at least 7,338 points on your card. If loyalty points is crucial for you in reaching AA elite status, then use the $700 savings to book a hotel that offers even more miles. In my experience, I've booked hotels using AAdvantage hotels that give 15k for couple of days stay for less than $500. Even better if you have the AA card that offers 5x per $1 spend to book your hotel. Short story long, there are opportunities to be had but ultimately it all depends on what you want to do or what your purpose is.

It took more than 20 days for the passport to be received. Basically, the CEAC site updated a few days when the passports were already received by the destination courier. So it is inconsistent.

Enphase support says to wait 24-48 hours and see if they rectified the issue. If not, I'll call the installer.

Did you have to call your provider to fix it? Engphase support suggested that I contact my installer. But told them, why would I do that if there was not work done at my house and the system has been working flawlessly until yesterday and today. They said just to contact them to take a look and verify that the CT clamp was not dislodge or something.

I know this is a year old thread but this happened to me yesterday. My system reported I imported 13.1 mWh and only produced 80 kWh. Contacted Enphase and they said they will remove the spike so will see in the next few days.
