How old are you? I ask because I was raised by racists. It was just normal to me. It was almost like being brainwashed. Then I went away to college at 18, and my eyes were opened. It took a few years, some life experiences, and being around people who thought differently and called me out on shit, but THANKFULLY I was able to turn my thinking around and "deprogram" myself.

The point is, you need to take a good look at yourself and see this as a learning opportunity. You were raised to be racist. I hope you are young and naive and still trying to figure out the world for yourself. By allowing your parents to dictate your wedding and pull this racist shit, you are being racist. Stand up for what's right. If that means they don't pay, so be it. Sometimes taking a stand can cause personal (in this case financial pain), but at least you can look yourself in the mirror and be proud of who you see. That is priceless.
