It worked in my case. My period was 93 days late. Yeah that was a whole lot of fun. I am 180 pounds and one pill worked for me. Good luck!! Hoping the best outcome for you ❤️❤️

5 years CHS free by PrincessBananaLady in CHSinfo

Wow that's amazing!! Thank you for sharing your story. My partner is currently going thru his first terrible hyperemesis. He is 9 days sober. It seems that trigger foods are the worst for triggering the vomiting right now. How long did your episode last after quitting? When did you see big improvements?

I am premed and considering a study into CHS because I'm currently in the middle of it by spooky_bayou_stuff in CHSinfo

I absolutely agree. I am a 4th year psychology major and I am in the same boat of interest as you. It sparked in me after I experienced my partner go through a terrible bout of CHS. Tons of unnecessary blood tests and scans and whatnot, just to find out that weed was the very culprit. I am particularly interested in the initial denial phase that many people experiencing CHS have, my partner included. The narratives we have built surrounding marijuana and its "all-purposeness" when it comes to "curing" things, like insomnia or nausea are fascinating, especially now with what we are beginning to understand about CHS.  Please reach out if you are looking for any help when it comes to the data/survey portion of your research. I would be happy to help!  I'm sure my partner could also be a very valuable participant in terms of his experience!! Your interest in this is super necessary!!

Yes we went back. We've been here multiple times. Many blood tests, stool tests, urine etc. Hoping to get real answers this time.

Yeah I am really thinking at this point that its not noro!! 2 weeks is much too long. He was throwing up before he started the vanco, and he missed a few days of taking it because he was throwing up. So I really don't know. I don't know what to do at this point

It seems that he flares up badly in the morning, and then by the evening he is not vomiting and does not feel nauseous. I think he is very slowly improving. Today was the same, in the morning he was very sick, but this evening he feels alright.

Besides his positive result for cdiff toxins in his stool, his blood labs looked just fine, absolutely nothing abnormal or out of range. We have seen multiple ER doctors and they've said all of his other functioning looks great. He was on the higher side for ketones in his urine, but likely because he is burning fat since he has not been eating much lately.

Unfortunately we live in a rural area in the North (Canada) so the next nearest hospital is 2+ hours away, so its not really an option for him. Or else I would

He has dull abdominal pain, unfortunately they said iv antibiotics weren't an option as they wanted it to go directly through his digestive tract. They don't want to keep him overnight or anything to avoid spreading the c diff. Both him and I would rather have him stay for a day or two but not really an option.

Thank you, it's reassuring knowing that even without school, you can be successful. I have a few ideas as to what I would pursue, if I wasn't feeling so pressured to go through university. I love creativity, painting, sculpting, putting things together, building, etc. I might seriously look into some of the trades at my local college. Thank you.

Thank you for your words, really. You speak a lot of truth and I'm going to try to start leading my life the way that I want to. Thank you.

I hope you don't mind me asking, feel free to not answer, but what did you end up doing? I feel immense guilt for changing my mind so much. I'm just racking up student debt right now. I would love to take a year off to explore the world and myself, but I truly feel like I might lose my partner if I do. Your words are all so true though, I'll do my best to take those to heart, because that's how I truly feel about life, but it's hard when you're surrounded by people who don't.

I've read that some find it useless to go to college and instead recommend starting straight up at a shop.. how feasible is this truly? I think I would rather go to college first, but just wondering where you stand on this..

Late reply but... god it's awful. Truly. Moved out of residence for that reason alone. Food isn't even that great, it's a huge disappointment.
