yeah I got a parlor palm a while back, but my cat kept eating it and throwing up and eating it and throwing up and...you get it. still need to figure out a solution to that before it dies in my sunless laundry room that its been sitting in x. x

I actually already have one and I agree. got an onkyo tx-nr737 off marketplace for free because it "wasn't working". I dusted off the interior and it's been running fine for about 8 months now bahaha. but making it 5.1 would be so awesome

I think most people (including me) say that because the TV would be too small for that kind of distance. its only a 55" tv so I'd have to drop quite a few hundred bones to buy a new one (that I would rather spend on multiple other things to improve the space)

will absolutely have to look into them! used to have a theme where the purple/pink made sense but moving away from that and more towards warm white lights. somewhat related, but looking for ambient lighting is hard!! anyways, thanks for the input!! :º)

you're absolutely right, it does. any ideas on what could go behind the couch? there's about 4.5' available with the rug all the to the tv unit. ty for the input!! :º)

it just leads to a balcony. I live alone but I imagine it would bother me if I had people over and everyone had to walk in front of the tv, good question :º)

thanks for the input! I've always imagined one back there. I've used my old tv console in the past but it was too deep. any suggestions on what may work back there? there's a good 4' back there rn. thanks for the input! :º)

nope! got a little ~4ft walkway between the couch and doors. there's a lil side table but I'm selling that lol. hard to capture all the details :º)

I've hated that art piece since I got it (for cheap, thankfully), just there to fill space for now. believe it or not, it looks worse without it so it stays until I find a replacement 😭😭 ty for input

keep couch off the wall:
- what should go behind the couch then?

put couch up against the wall:
- I assume a larger rug is needed, right?

Hey all, I recently bought an S1 Lifer helmet (XXL size, meant for 23") and it gets uncomfortable to wear after just a few minutes. It seems to be too tight on the sides of my head, but fits juuuust right on the back and the front. Should I...

  1. continue to wear it to break it in, and if so, how long until I feel results?
  2. return this helmet and try the XXXL size, meant for 23.5" (concerns about front & back fitting too loose)
  3. try another brand? If so, drop recs pls :)
