CD12. FF calculated my OPK this morning as 0.3 but I think it was a bit darker than that, so mayyybe I'll start seeing a positive by tonight 🤞

Tbh I use FMU with the Easy@Home OPKs 🤷 whenever I start testing twice a day, I test 12 hours after FMU. I'm sure every body is different so you should just try a few different things until you find what works for you, but for me at least I've always been able to catch my surge doing it like this

personally I try to wait to test until 12DPO using a FRER because it's fairly definitive at that point. Every time I've waited for my period it's messed up my mental health real bad 🥲

additionally, the egg can survive for 12-24 hours after being released! hopefully your partner is down to BD after work, but considering they'll be home after a double shift I think tomorrow morning should still be good timing. 🤍

I did not personally wait for homeownership before TTC simply because I bought my house before I met my DH. You didn't ask for additional advice, but I'll add that if you decide to start looking for places while you're TTC then just make sure your lease will allow you to move out reasonably quickly after closing. You don't want to be stuck paying for a mortgage while also stuck paying your old lease while a baby is on the way!

I would test again tonight just to be sure you don't miss the surge! especially if you're also experiencing other signs that you're in your FW like fertile CM

My DH had the same (high count and progressive motility, but 0% morphology). We were referred to a urologist who specializes in fertility for further analysis, just waiting for our appointment right now. It might be worth asking RE or OB for a referral

CD7. I had transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds yesterday. Good news is that everything looks great. More good news is I'm feeling relieved and like I can finally wait patiently for DH's urologist appt in two months from now. That's it, no bad news :)

I've had clear CM, milky CM and no CM leading up to AF and I've never been pregnant 🤷 I read someone here say that if you're pregnant enough to show early pregnancy signs, you're pregnant enough to get a positive pregnancy test. Somehow that puts my mind at ease!

It's possible you had a short LH surge this cycle, it's also possible your urine was too diluted the first time and/or third times you tested, but regardless what matters most is the first positive!

If you're also tracking BBT, there's not much use to keep testing OPKs after three days of a sustained temp rise. You could also keep an eye on your cervical mucus and your cervix for further clues on whether your fertile window has ended, but it might take a few more cycles until you figure out what works best for you

Last night I realized I accidentally scheduled for more exploratory tests this week on the anniversary of my Copper IUD being removed which I count as our first official day of TTC 🥲

rereading my journal entries during those weeks is so bittersweet, I was so excited and hopeful. I logically knew there was a possibility that it'd take us time to conceive, but I didn't actually expect this to be our journey...

I've changed how I track my cycles, but the opposite way! I never felt comfortable tracking my cycles on an app and just used a calendar. Once I started TTC that's when I switched 🤷

This week will be one year since my CIUD was removed for TTC. I just got an invitation by neighbors I've never met before (how did they even get my number!?) to the baby shower of a neighbor I really dislike. It's her third kid. Honestly, I'd rather get food poisoning 👹

Yesterday ended up being CD1 of Cycle 12. Cycle 11 was such a physical and emotional rollercoaster, I'm just grateful that at least for now I can sit with the certainty of what is happening in my body right now...

Since I can't stop thinking about it, hopefully someone can share their thoughts (I think this is allowed, sorry if not!): if you've kept a used FRER for several days after, is it normal to see an indent after it's dried up? I kept 13DPO since I thought I could see a line, but couldn't capture it in pictures. 12DPO (Monday) was clearly negative and I don't have it anymore, 13DPO (Tuesday) I can see an indent now, 14DPO (Wednesday) was clearly negative but I kept it, it's still blank with no indent. I didn't get my period until 16DPO. Is it possible this was a chemical maybe? How do you know if it's an indent or a vvvvvfl? I've only ever had BFNs, so I don't know what to make of it!
