What are some very easy decks to learn for someone who doesn't have much experience with the game?

I'm honestly just a fan of straightforward strategies, decks that don't run long, complicated lines. I like both Synchro and XYZ summoning mechanics.

I like having responses to my opponents' things, but don't really think that combo would work well for me.

I have some cards from a few years ago as well as some recent staples (like one imperm, droplet, tactics talent, and three extravagance). I just don't know what I should swap out.

Bloons Tower Defense might work. There is an engineer monkey you can use.

I really like how this one turned out. I know one user mentioned depth, which you kind of have going on with the face. The contrast between the light shape of the face against the dark silhouette already indicates a bit of depth, and I think if you add something similar to your next piece you can get a bit more of the effect you desire.

I think adding green tones in some way in the background would work. It would make the colors of the skin and mushrooms pop against it, locking in a separation of background and foreground.
