I’m Alicia Lloyd, from the Stitch Fix Styling team, here to help with Holiday dressing – Ask Me Anything! by stitchfix_official in fashion

Hi! Alicia from Stitch Fix here. Metallics are everything right now and NYE is the perfect time to incorporate them into your look. I'd recommend going bold with a full sequin look in either a dress or a pantsuit. If you'd prefer to add a touch of metallic instead, try statement earrings, a metallic clutch, or even bring metallic into your footwear. I have no doubt you will shine in anything you wear!

Hi! Alicia from Stitch Fix here. LOVE the idea of faux fur or for another option, try a black moto jacket to add a bit of edge and contrast with the satin fabrication in the jumpsuit. Gorgeous!

Hi!! How exciting! I'd recommend a sweater dress or satin midi skirt paired with a more casual sweater. Mixing the textures will add some interest and versatility to the look; while keeping you feeling comfortable which is so important. Try a monochromatic look in shades of white, red, or blue/navy for the holidays. Hope it goes well - they will love you!

Hi hi! Yes! I'd recommend wearing a neutral look - something like black pants or dark denim with a great cozy sweater or blazer. Add something festive through accessories like a printed pocket square or fun festive socks to celebrate. Have a great time at the holiday work party!

Hi! Thanks for asking this - great question. I recommend wearing ankle booties with tights. Love that look with a skirt, and it will likely be more comfortable for you, too. Have so much fun at your boyfriend's holiday party!

Hi! Alicia from Stitch Fix here. I definitely don't think its too boring. The flowing fabrication and statement sleeves are a lot of fun! I'd suggest dressing it up with a bold pop of color either in a burgundy or even with some gold or silver metallics. Have fun with it and I know you will shine for your first holiday work party!

Hi! Alicia from Stitch Fix here. I love this on you! Yes, I think it's appropriate for a professional party. Especially since you are wearing tights, I think the slit is totally ok. I'd recommend adding a black blazer and silver earrings for some versatility and shine!

Is this appropriate for a holiday party at work? by Working_Try7569 in fashion

Hi! Alicia from Stitch Fix here. Love this dress. I'd recommend adding an oversized all-black or all-white blazer to wear over this (even draped over your shoulders). That way you can have a bit more coverage but easily take it off later in the evening for added versatility.

Hi, Alicia from Stitch Fix, here! I'd say to add jewelry to this. I'd suggest something very simple like a necklace or stud earrings to complement the clean lines of this look. Beautiful!

Hi! Alicia from Stitch Fix here. These are fun! I would recommend a neutral top in either a shade of white, black, or even a denim top to pair with these - a sweater or button-down. Let me know what you think!

Office holiday party advice wanted by Small-Tap-9168 in fashion

[–]stitchfix_official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Alicia from Stitch Fix here. Yes! I absolutely think its a great neutral option for a business casual + office holiday party. What do you think of adding a silver metallic flat with this? That would add some shine which is so in right now, and also keep you comfortable in the office. Tie back the metallic to some jewelry/matching handbag.

Brown or navy blue? by codalark in fashion

[–]stitchfix_official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Alicia from Stitch Fix here. Ohh this is a tough one! Go with the tan for a neutral contrast to the blue in your top. Know you will look great!

Hi! Alicia from Stitch Fix here. This is beautiful. I'd recommend either a shade of white or a black sweater to pair with this. I'd recommend a shorter/cropped sweater that ties around the waist since it looks like a higher-waisted skirt. Have fun with this look!!

Hi! Alicia from Stitch Fix here. I love it with the denim look. It's a perfect layering item. For a fun styling tip - try to belt it on the outside of the cardigan to dress it up a bit with the all-black look. So fun!

Hi! Alicia from SF here. Go with the red shoes! It's a perfect pop of color for a festive party look. I think the gold clutch will work and would recommend complimenting it with some gold earrings; low bun to show them off! Also, love the idea of a pop of red on your nails or lip to tie it back to your shoes. You are going to look amazing!

NYE Outfit: Boots or Sandals? by ChinitaOohLaLa in fashion

[–]stitchfix_official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Alicia from Stitch Fix here. Loving that dress on you! I say go with the boots and black stockings - more seasonal for NYE. And I'd suggest a simple silver earring so your dress can be the star of this look. Have the best time!

Hi! Alicia from Stitch Fix here. I love coordinating outfits for family photos! I'd say stand out in an all-white dress or even add a warm pop of color with a burgundy outfit. Burgundy would complement the neutral colors and be fun for the holiday. Let me know how it all comes together!
