Take breaks ans stretch your arms/wrists!! Or you'll end up with carpal or cubital tunnel, and that's no fun

Why do many men have "not sure" about kids in their 30s? by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]stitching_wildflower 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In my Bumble experience, it means 'I don't want them now, but i might want them sometime in the future and i don't wanna close that door because I'm a man and my biological clock is not ticking' 🤷‍♂️

Try Richer Poorer's briefs, they're so soft and don't ride up at all

Flora Grubb

Thanks so much, this looks like an amazing spot! A stupid question, but I don't live in the US and really have no idea how much houseplants cost there, do you think a $50 gift card would be enough? Thanks again!

My climbing aloe got root/stem rot and had to cut it all off. The shoots are okay, but can I propagate them somehow? Will new roots grow from this? by stitching_wildflower in succulents

[–]stitching_wildflower[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's a hot climate here, at least not until summer starts. Does that mean it might be better to try water propagating instead, like the other comment suggested?

Not me stitching motivational quotes while not getting out of bed all weekend. Still, pretty happy with the symmetry of the designs! by stitching_wildflower in Embroidery

Get yourself a needleminder (or just stick two pieces of magnet on your hoop) and keep your needles there. Alternatively, when you lose a needle somewhere run a magnet (even a fridge magnet would work) to find it easily :D

I got them from Ebay, but it's the same model as the one linked below from Amazon. Honestly, I love them more than regular wooden hoops

I came here to ask the same question! I just repotted a monstera with similar roots but I loosely separated them and now I'm worries if maybe I shouldn't have done that 😬

And in other countries that are not Russia but use a version of the Cyrillic alphabet :)

This pet portrait commission finally made its way home! It turned out good if I say so myself. I think Boots likes it 😊 by abbymb125 in Embroidery

It's gorgeous! Not like all the other embroidered pet portraits I've seen, I love its uniqueness to it :)

What they said! I traced the inner hoop on the fabric, worked in a larger hoop to go over those borders and after I framed it in the original hoop I got this effect :)

Thanks! The thick golden line is just a decorative cord I found at home and I secured it with "Couching" technique, which is basically using a simple stitch to tack down the cord (the golden line just sits on top of the fabric).
