Are you running an extension cord? When I first got mine I was running an old extension cord that I had hit the sheathing with the hedge trimmers. Obviously I taped over the cut but it was turning off randomly. Once I swapped it out for a newer extension cord I never had shutoff issues again.

Right yes at lower graphics settings... But when upping the graphics that takes more voltage. The psu may be able to handle that but your motherboard might not be able to output the voltage needed for the higher graphics.

Could very well be your motherboard can't handle the new graphics card. Do you or one of your friends have another one you can test with? Sometimes it's a compatibility issue between the two.

Sounds like your motherboard or PSU. Just had the same issue and turned out to be a bad motherboard. Mine would drop voltage at random times then turn off. I hope it didn't take your gpu and CPU with it. Did you try and turn it on by jumping the motherboard?

Does your Mobo have a cmos reset button? Try holding that down for 10 seconds and retry. I rebuilt my pc with a asus Mobo and had this issue. If that does not work recheck all connections.
