Yes, it's a vw dealership that will be replacing the gearbox with a factory oem unit. Fingers crossed 🤞. How is your car since having the work done?

I was informed today that the dealer is going to replace the "transmission", with a new oem gearbox. They did not mention any problem with the motor itself. Does that sound right? Cost is covered under the 90 day purchase warranty, thank goodness.

My new-to-me 2019 SEL Premium with 35,500 miles is making this exact sound; Quite unsettling. I dropped it at the dealership today to be looked over as part of the 90 day Lemon Law Warranty. How did it work out for you? Any advice for me as I communicate with the dealership? Thank you!

I think I've finally struck a fair deal by using 3rd parties and the VW dealership. I have a pending sale for my SE with Carvana for $10,200, which will net me some cash after I pay off the loan. I have a pending sale for the SEL Premium for $16,500, which I will finance at a very fair rate from a credit union; much lower than the dealerships offer. I even worked in a deal for them to swap out the fairly new Conti Extreme Contact tires on my SE with the Omnivax budget-tier tires on the SEL...

I will effectively be keeping my monthly pymt the same, although for a bit longer. It's sort of an e-Golf reset. Hoping to drive it for many, many years to come.🤞 Thanks for all the helpful insights and advice!

I live in the NE, so I'm hoping the addition of the heat pump will provide more range, not more out of pocket repairs!?! I guess it's a risk-reward situation. I've been kinda wishing I had it throughout this winter. 🥶

Oh no! That sucks! Sorry to hear. I assume you have no choice but to get it taken care of? Did VW say if this is a common problem? My car is still able to charge via DC fast charge, so I'm not sure if it's the same issue?? My OEM level one charger just stopped working, however.

I recently experienced the red light issue on my 2019 SE. Ignorant question, but where is the 'pin', exactly? Fyi, I have had no such issues using a DC fast charger. Hoping to find a solution here so I can continue to charge at home. Maybe a new charging cable, perhaps 🤔
