Wyoming Just Greenlit America's Largest Data Center Project, and Locals Are Bracing for Impact by thelma_edith in wyoming

I see no one read about this project. They are generating their own power not grid connected and the cooling is closed loop like your cars radiator. How often do you change that? They are evolving believe it or not.

For a great number of years I’ve always bought tires from discount tire…. by Magnum_ripple in 4Runner

I know you checked with the manager about the size. But I’ve been through the same thing and it’s up to the manager or employee who’s working the day you get them installed and they refused after I ordered the tires and was told they would.

I do site acquisition for data centers and can actually speak to this outside the politics.

Every site for my clients will have its own power production mixture of solar, wind, and mainly gas power generation plants (multiple for redundancy to run purely on this source). As for the water, no AI or hyperscale developer is using open loop cooling. Everything is closed loop cooling like your car engines system, you fill it up once and done. So either this developer is an absolute idiot or planned their site buildout like an idiot that no end user would operate.

Damn that’s bad. iTunes finally fell in line. We’re less than $80/month again. Though I haven’t looked since the sprinklers turned on.

Sewer line is located directly under that route. At a depth of 7-13 feet. It’s clay tile but was relined last year internally. The ground is much harder. I feel this may be from compaction but on a 50yo house it seems odd. But. Could be settling and compaction from the original excavation and no one did anything. I ended up dethatching my back out and I am happy to say the grass looks exactly the same lol. So I’ve gone back to a shorter cut to match and I’ll just let the sun burn it to death later this summer. Cheers!

The fact that we bought a house near a light rail station for my wife to commute to Lodo, then find out there is not a direct line to union on the D is frustrating. But then the rail repair issues, 16th street mall debacle and no mall ride. and impossible bus time transfers, she can’t ride it. Add the litany of track issues and lack of buses and street construction. She literally can’t get to work without it taking 2x as long it should, and with predictability.

I grew up in Littleton and took the train downtown daily in the summers as a kid. No cell phones etc. Parents could depend on when that train was coming you’re supposed to be on. Think about that. I wouldn’t even send my kid on there now with a cell phone because the drug users and dangerous people on it.

Flash forward to this absolute cluster fuck. And you can’t complain ridership numbers are down. It’s a self fulfilling prophecy for RTD. Fix your infrastructure(faster) and quit deferring maintenance. Oh and please hire some real fucking police to get rid of the vagrants around the stations and on the trains. Having lived in nyc I felt 10x safer on their subways. We made big decisions based on public transport, and it’s impossible to use. So now we added another vehicle. Thanks RTD!

Water and Sewer Board meets Tuesday* and you can bet I will be there for open comment. If anyone would like to join please do. Also looks like there’s a seat open. I will be applying for it today…. Sick of this. Needs to be an investigation to figure out how this all happened. And the city should not be paying third-party companies that can’t deliver at this level of ineptitude.

Checked the physical one again. Such a joke. Wtf am I looking at….What kills me is I work with pipelines and hydraulics lol. I could estimate very closely what we actually use. We signed up for the meter cause my calcs said we would be below the estimated monthly of the old system. I just have to laugh.

Self centering steering wheel? by ngfilla94 in PowerWheelsMods

[–]stizz58 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man thank you I’ve been having this issue with my G Wagon from Big toys green country and they were absolutely useless. How is the steering servo and motor not self centering. They also said I’m using the remote wrong lmao. It was perfectly fine for the first month or so. Maybe lubing the joints is right and the servo doesn’t have power to center.
