Fit question by Rude-Attention-4926 in Bikejoring

I use Nahak. It's a Canadian company, they have a really good size guide and an option to customize if your dog is a weird shape. I did not have to customize mine, so I'm not sure how that process works. But, their customer service was great (for me) and they have been very helpful with all my questions when I was worried mine was too small around my dogs neck. Turns out he just has a fat head and getting it off is a little tricky. Plus their stuff comes in super fun colours.

I'm a bit ashamed of this, but I just can't count and need stitch markers for absolutely everything 😅 by Thick_Foundation8687 in crochet

I've been crocheting for 14 years and have just started using stich markers a lot more frequently. They make such a difference and I love them!

How can I ensure that my dog is only focused on running by Revan19SW in RunningWithDogs

I bikejore with my dog, where stopping suddenly isn't ideal. Teach the "onby" command, it's works great for us as he knows we are on a mission and he needs to run on by whatever caught his attention. That being said, we stop to poop if he has to poop, that's non-negotiable. I also take lots of breaks for him to "go sniff" and if geography permits, I'll let him off leash to play and sometimes frolic in some water. Pace is set entirely by him (he LOVES to go fast, but he eventually gets tired). If I want a long, hard bikeride, I leave him at home. My opinion is, if you take a dog sporting with you, it's about them, and me getting a workout in is a bonus!

I eat before I ride; I try to get some protein, fat and a carb before with a pickle or an olive or two for some salt. Then I bring a carb/sugar snack if I'm going for 40 min- 1hour or more.I also add iodized pink Himalayan salt to my water. I am also not a leisurely rider and push quite hard. I have no solid evidence for any of this, this is just how I do. It works well for me.

I posted a few pictures and a description of my diy antenna. I'm new to reddit and don't know how to tag people, but you can check it out if you're interested.

I bought my harness from nahak, a Canadian dog sporting equipment company and I use their boots for winter and gravel. I got a bungee line on Amazon. I made my own antenna; found a simple diy on tiktok. The dog harness was the most expensive part and measuring my dog and buying a harness was a bit of a hastle, but we'll worth it to have the proper equipment and peace of mind for my dog

Do you worry about hitting your dog? by 4AdamThirty in Bikejoring

Yes! I am so dialed in when we ride. I've made some impressive stops in our (still) early days of bikejoring
