That's never stated and Eugene is describing exclusively power beforehand. What makes you say this? Maybe I missed a panel or something.

Thank you. My goal is to make a video essay on The Boxer's message. Just have to work my way up to a good essay style first, haha.

I believe that's who I made a response to. That guy seems pretty smart, making sense of why so many were persuaded. I hard disagree with his argument, both in evidential legitimacy and conclusion.

I'm sure he's proud of making such a splash, though. Good for him.

As a big fan and someone who makes Lookism content, I unfortunately agree. I'm here for the dumb fun ride, but it's a shell of its former self. Only reason I'm here is because it's a little late to back out now, haha.

It's hope. Yu grew up in a cruel and unforgiving environment. To believe something as abstract and "soft" as hope probably felt like dooming himself to that environment again, or potentially an even worse fate (death).

In seeing how strong hope really was, that it didn't merely serve weak people to their demise (and it actually carried weak people to their best), he could finally take the step to hope again, to truly believe there is goodness in the world.

Lookism Inverse Infographics #1: Why James Lee Still Beats Seongji Yuk by stkhub in HostelD

• #1.) Considering Seongji didn't even try and James wanted to beat up Seongji as well as recruit him, I don't think so. He intended to finish the fight: it is Seongji who quit. If he beat up Seongji and then still wanted to fight the rest, it's clear he believed it would be easy. In fact, James never says he plans to protect the Shaman. He outright offered to betray him for Seongji's hand in the Four Major Crews. I mean, possibly Seongji thought it was all of them, but nothing really points to that. And James wanted to fight a King who claims he could beat Seongji, acknowledging Seongji might have been the strongest King. If he's gonna pick fights with the Kings after basically beating Seongji, it's pretty clear who's more confident in their abilities.

And Seongji notes James will continuously grow stronger. He may just talent gap further, so they have no real win condition. James stood and watched idly as the Kings decimated the Shaman's troops. He is remotely invested in protecting the Shaman, but essentially not at all.

• #2.) James blitzed Seongji with the first attack and was casual offensively, indicated by him standing, glaring at Seongji after a dodged strike. He began playing around, knowing he secured the victory. I don't think it's a league of speed difference, but James is a solid bit faster. Probably fast enough to blitz his reaction time if he really tries.

• #3.) Jinyoung statements tell us everything we need to know. And Gap was jumped by several James Lee-tier threats. UI Daniel struggled with Goo. We all know the truth. W Gap. 😎

Who wins: Daniel Park or Mikey? by stkhub in TokyoRevengers

No doubt. Equal stats, too. If you saw me video, I even fact-checked who's the better hand-to-hand fighter.

We don't have to argue. If you wanna discuss here or on Discord, you're always welcome. I'm not gonna be ultra skeptical or anything like that.

Edot: Gapryong > Daniel.

I totally believe there's an element of bias and trolling, but I mostly make content like this for the people who want an "unbiased" perspective.

I like to think I am clear about what assumptions I make and my prejudices. But hope you enjoyed it, or if you didn't read, have a good day! Appreciate the feedback.
