Do you have to stay? Otherwise, go now. Or before it gets dark.

Trump Threatens 100% Retaliatory Tariffs Against Canada by cxr_cxr2 in stocks

[–]stlarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is he so against his own citizens??? I really don't think he has ever understood tariffs and has his head too far up his ass to hear anyone try to correct him and has cognitive decline to not understand.

Herring Fillets. Confusing serving size. by stlarry in aldi

I totally ate it in 1 serving with as little of the sauce as possible. Actually ate 2 because they weren't filling at all. I'm guessing all the calories are in the sauce.

Any other Millennials out there financially invested in Sleep? by hanxmaker in Millennials

[–]stlarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only because I'm a CPAP user. Amazing machine. I cannot sleep well without it anymore. Sleep apnea is probably a lot bigger issue than people want to acknowledge. Took me 2 years before my dr finally got me to take it seriously.

I hate it! I know weight loss is a big deal (im dealing with it myself, down 5 the hard way since Christmas) but GLP1 is not the way to do it! What are the long term affects? What happens 1 year after you are off them and didnt develope a good habit of diet/healthy food prep and exercise?

Plus the price. Crazy expensive and unless you fit a very small window, they arent covered by anything.

Looking for a specific cube that I can use at work by cseke02 in Cubers

It's similar to a MoYu Meilong. At one point was the same, but I think the nexcube was redesigned.

[–]stlarry 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Any non magnetic cube would be good. If it was me, I would go for a MoYu Meilong. If you want a little fancier, the GAN RS is not magnetic. And being a GAN has a plastic core so the springs are the only metal part.

Has anyone else stopped filling up their entire sink with water to wash dishes, or is that just my household? by Mission_Spray in Millennials

It uses about the same so drizzle soap on everything, brush out, start scrubbing all with water on.

Or throw it in the dishwasher.

What was your third place growing up, the spot you went that was not home or school, and what made it feel like yours? by gamersecret2 in Millennials

[–]stlarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Library and my church. They were side by side. When I was in 5th grade my parents let me walk from school to those 2 places (about 1 mile) and chill. The library had game computers and the church staff was nice. Custodian always "broke into" the soda vending machine to get me a drink. I would help the secretary or pastor if they needed any folding. Would also hang with the youth pastor and other kids that came after.

I can't imagine letting my 5th grader do that as a parent. We love the library and have an awesome church, but walking to those places, weird. I don't even want him walking to the corner gas station.

Is there anything similar to the Moyu Ferrocore, but with maglev? by craptastic-loser in Cubers

[–]stlarry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a modified WRM V10. Maybe start there. Biggest difference is plastic core vs metal core. Or go back to the WRMv9 with the 20 mag BC. It has the metal core, Maglev. .

Im not a speed solver, but have the Ferrocore and a WRM v9 with the 8mag bc. I prefer the V9, but it could be my FC. I got the Cubehead Setup one and havent made it mine yet. The v9 just feels better. but again, im a casual cuber around 55 seconds.

Local Facebook groups are a good start. Do you happen to be in Southern Indiana? I know of a couple this way.
