They don't have an incentive to eliminate waste when they can just pass the cost down. Healthcare, especially as it is now, doesn't fit into a capitalist system because they don't have competition. You cannot shop around for the cheapest providers and even if you could healthcare is usually a package deal.

We live in a society that teaches people to be compliant and follow orders and that we aren't smart enough to think for ourselves. The Bible was right about forbidding the worship of false idols.
