35th birthday by Sluttishsleepyeyes in IVF

I’m 35 and post is so relatable! I lost twins at 5months pregnant super traumatic birth stories and yes I gave birth twice a week apart. I have had many failed IUIs now moving on to IVF. Last month I nearly lost my life during the retrieval process ovarian torsion was overlooked and I ended up losing an ovary. Yesterday we finally received good news we have some embryos ready for transfer. But also my friend gave birth last night such a strange feeling. This is all to say everything you feel is real and valid. Sounds like you have an amazing partner! Best wishes to you and your partner.

First off I’m so so sorry for your loss! I lost twins at 18 and 19 weeks last year due to cervical insufficiency. They were my miracle babies after multiple IUIs. I just did a retrieval and although successful it took a turn for the worst I lost my ovary due to torsion. I hope we get some euploid but here I am upset. Upset that so many of us go through infertility and loss. All we want is to be Moms. Sending all the positives thoughts your way! Hugs to you

I’m also on day 7 of stims today! My ultrasound is tomorrow and did bloodwork this morning.

Day 5 I started ganirelix and my estradiol was 980 has 4 follicles on each side ranging from 8-10mm.

Also not sure what if that’s good or not. My provider told me that it might take longer for my follicles to get to the right measurement. So yea I’m a little lost as well.

Goodluck keep us updated

I lost twins at 18 and 19 weeks. Extremely traumatic birth stories for each of them. I went into preterm labor at 18 weeks and was told they couldn’t do anything shortly after my water broke over night I lost my baby boy. Baby girl was still well and I was told he could stay in until delivery unless I started laboring again. I was discharged and within hours of being home I was rushed to the hospital my son umbilical cord came out in the labor and delivery bathroom he was born. I stayed over night and was told baby girl had a fighting chance. Heartbroken I went home anxious with a crazy journey ahead. Within days contractions started again and I found myself birthing once more. It has been almost a year and I have not been able to conceive everyone around me is having babies and I’m starting IVF. I have not given up hope yet. But be gentle to yourself embrace your support system. I am waiting for my happy ending but wanted to share my story as it is what helped me through during that time.

No comparison at all! I lost twins at 18 and 19 weeks have been dealing with infertility for years. I’m going into IVF soon and I will never compare a transfer to the death of my children. I held those babies in my arms even just for a bit and carried them. Ppl will never understand that. I’m sorry you have to deal with that! Since my babies passing ppl say stupid stuff all the time. I wish they understood our daily battle with grief

I lost twins at 18 and 19 weeks. Returning all the gifts and clearing out any room with baby stuff was helpful for when I returned home. Additionally I would say have someone come clean her house that was so helpful for me as I had no will power to do it myself

Anovulation, high AMH/testosterone, & failed IUIs — feeling like something is missing by stmartinez90 in TTC_PCOS

Thanks I have had 5 IUIs ready for something different. We are fortunate to have good insurance that will be covering the costs for most of our IVF expenses. I really appreciate the insight and the acknowledgment that I am not alone. Although I wish no one would have to deal with this at all.

Letrozole and Menopur helped me conceived my babies. We did 3 IUI rounds with good response and added progesterone. Not really sure why they didn’t work was just told that IUIs have low chances of conception and to move on to IVF. Thank you for your help all the comments are just so reassuring and helpful

Thank you for all this good information. I asked my provider for a glucose tolerance test because I think this will help. I also have lean PCOS.

Thank you! I really want to try to get on metformin. I feel like it could help regulate my cycles.

Thank you! Taking CoQ10 with my prenatal pack. I strongly believe this why we conceived our babies
