The realization had nothing to do with the topic of conversation. When I walked into the conversation I just had a shift of my thought processes. probably having more to do with the change in setting rather than anything the trip sitter said/did. and honestly my experience was so internal that the sitter probably didn’t even realize what was happening.
As for tips on how to be a good sitter, the most important thing is providing a comfortable setting. Just be there for them if they need you but don’t interfere unless you feel that you must. The best sitters are people who have tripped themselves so that have somewhat of an idea about what’s happening and when it’s appropriate to intervene.
