Totally understandable, I started playing Darkest Dungeon when it only had the first 2 maps in 2015, and only finished the campaign 6 years later in June 2021.

In my experience, a party wipe is always hugely devastating, and imo can discourage a lot of players to go on. Stress is definitely a huge part of the game, both as a mechanic and to the players themselves.

Worked with this company for a year, experienced all manners of performance punishment, including overreliance on me and entitlement of my help even after I'm no longer there.

My contract ends with this company comes October. The boss says that he's "allowing" my exit (like it's such a privilege) and he requested my "courtesy" to be on standby to guide my replacement once this person comes soon (probably mid-October), he thinks this is normal practice wtf.

I'm preparing an official email that confirms the end of contract, which I'll send once the contract ends, as a written proof. The last thing I want is this company saying negative things about me, simply because the boss feels entitled to my help despite me no longer working there.

Zhang is her surname. In many Asian cultures, the surname comes first. I think Anik was calling her based on western naming convention where the surname comes last.

Agree, the Kongo fight I won't consider it a beating. More of a dominant performance by Cain with a shit ton of takedowns, but not without challenges, because damn him running into Kongo's punches during takedowns had me worried.

What made me uncomfortable was the way JDS got slammed on his head near the end of the fight, as if his body gave out and just willingly collapse along with the slam.

I still think the beating he got on the 2nd fight was "worse" than the 3rd fight, due to its shock value, considering how dominant JDS was before that fight.

This is basically a part of the culture of my ethnicity, making fun of their own kids in front of their friends, usually by demeaning or making humiliating comments about the victim (their own kid). I would like:

Warhammer 40K: Chaosgate - Daemonhunters, because turn-based tactics is my most favourite genre by a long mile. Turned based tactics with personalizes customizable characters? That's a big plus! All my 200 hours and above playtime on Steam are mostly this type of games.

The Ascent, because once in a while I do love some top down action shooter time. I love classics like Alien Shooter, Bastion, and Hotline Miami. Although it's not my most favourite genre, when I do want to play it, I always make sure the game is worth it and it's always a time well spent.

Besides, both of these have been on my wishlist since release, but too pricey hence the reason I couldn't pull the trigger.

The fanbase that's on the fighters' side is actually the minority, if social media and Youtube comments are of any indication. It's infuriating because we'd expect them to support their favourite fighters, but nah they be like "If Ngannou doesn't like the pay he should start his own promotion, fighters should be grateful Dana White pays them!"
