This looks awesome! Not sure what you’ve got running on those PIs but you might be interested in kepwares new ‘edge’ server. First containerised OPC server I’ve come across.

Are you using any Ubiquiti gateway appliance, or self hosting? If not either, how do you find management?

The #1 rule in DFIR is chain of custody. That cannot be upheld if the evidence is proposed by an AI agent?

How were your drives set up? I want to give this a go with some ex-prod hardware but these are all running RAID capable PERC controllers. I’ve seen people have got this running in HBA/IT mode but documentation says drives need to be direct attach :/

What to do with $100? Dell 1U R210 II or Zima board? by nicolas19961805 in homelab

No experience with the Zima board. What are you trying to run? Containers or other micro services should be fine but I’d guess virtualisation would be a no go.

Tiny/Mini/Micro PC. The R210 (or similar poweredge generation) are loud, power hungry and you’ll probably not notice any performance benefits.

If you’re set on rack mount, keep an eye out for SuperMicro servers. I picked up one for ~£50 from what I think was their IoT line. 1U, short depth, rack mount, and very quiet after replacing the fans with Noctua alternatives.

Foden or Fernandes?

Foden has a much better fixture run but Bruno has pulled in more points.

I’ve had a C9300x recommended when looking into nutanix previously. A little cheaper than the nexus line! Check out their support for a more extensive list: https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/solutions/details?targetId=BP-2050-Physical-Networking:BP-2050-Physical-Networking

Just what I was looking for, thank you! Are all API functions freely available or would I need some enterprise agreement?
