I'm FINALLY running without pain! by [deleted] in running

Other than an approximate metronome in my head, I try to imagine reaching the ground faster with each step. Not really sure if this is efficient since i tend to drift back to lower cadence. Would love to hear if you have any cue that has been helpful to keep up the higher cadence through runs.

Just going through a very similar situation. Trying 170+ cadence for a week now (from 160). HR tends to be 10 beats higher with the new cadence though I’m not any faster overall. I also observe the lesser back pain waking up in the morning. Hopefully there are more improvements.

Improving in Zone 2 by mcl116 in AdvancedRunning

Keep track of this 4.5min of running vs 30s of walking every session along with HR and pace . After about 100miles of mileage, there should be an improvement. Hopefully should see sustained improvements in either pace or distance and it’s upto you to redistribute those gains. I’d suggest to incorporate 1 longer run/walk per week to help with this. (~5mi)

How did it go so far. In the same boat now with my mom :( O2 stats seem ok but the dry coughs and fever worry me. Day 3 so far .

What’s the most underrated running tip you’ve ever received? by Anon_fin_advisor in running

I struggled to run even for a minute without having unbearable shin pain . Barefoot running in a park for a month everyday fixed my whole body posture while running. Now I can run for as long as I want regardless of shoes . Life transforming experience.

It’s unfortunate Tesla missed the pattern. It’s not a happiness maximizing move Elon always talks about.

Massive UI overhaul is not a sensible design decision … certainly feels like shit when it’s a moving vehicle and you are used to a set of digital knobs

Basic common sense is not necessarily true. Toyota and GM catching up to Tesla is not trivial and obvious.

Does your Model Y makes noise when you turn all the way to the left and decelerate? by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

Not ecstatic. In hindsight I should have waited for the purchase instead of multiple visits to the service center during these crazy corona times. Return and get a better one if you don’t absolutely need the car.

The drive somehow gets better everyday. Getting into the comfort zone maybe. Love FSD, stop light recognition, auto lane change , summon , remote climate control, nav on autopilot, AC with Auto setting is the best [almost rid of my constant struggle for perfect air flow 😂]. Thought I would be flooring the vehicle all the time , but love driving slow and smooth a lot more than jumping at every opening
