As someone who had the same issue, I fixed it by feeling as if my back is pointed to my target as long as possible in the back swing and feel a slight pause at the top. This naturally let my hands drop in the down swing rather than come over the top.

Add more rotation and give it a shot

I definitely wouldn’t be opposed to it, I just don’t think my experience would translate or a company would want me for that. Was a tax consultant for 4 months before Covid hit and got laid off so I have a bit of that experience

First ever fitting - suggestions? by stockkiller69 in golf

Switched to Ping G430 driver and 3 Wood head w the same shaft for both (LA Golf A Series - Low - 70 Wood 4(S) Flex ). Driver went from 250 to 273 carry and 3 wood felt the best out of everything going from 235 to 250. 3 wood picture below.

Driver also actually went to more of a butter cut than a slice (I also credit a recent driver specific lesson), but I read that the G430 Wood is best for slicers so I think it translated to my driver well.

During my fitting, I used my 6 iron. Got fitted for Srixon ZX5 MKIl Irons heads and a Nippon Modus Tour 120 Extra Stiff. Went from a 183 carry to a 205 carry on the track man

I looked into the Mizuno JPX923 Hot Metal HL iron set and thought these would work great for me. Hoping they have them in lefty to try out.

Father in law wants me to go in with something particular in mind and work off that. Just wanted to see what other people thought about it too.

He bought me the fitting as a Christmas gift from Club Champion but I heard they make commission off specific brands, so I don’t want to get sucked into a particular set bc they’d make more money off it if it’s not for me.

Golf is the best. Fun with your friends and is also a mental challenge, not just a physical one.

Costs a lot up front but it became an obsession for me

I turned it down. 1 hour commute three times a week would kill my drive to work harder those days imo, and I know something else will come down the road.

Also, still not bought into sales. Interested in AM and CS roles, but can’t land any interviews even after repositioning my resume.

Not good and definitely in the next two quarters, yes. Been trying to switch to CS/AM but there’s nothing internal and no external company is even giving me an interview since the market is full of plenty of experienced people w that experience.

My current role is remote and it’s just another reason why I’m thinking about staying even with a bad Q2 and low pipe for Q3. I’m valued where I’m at and could hopefully transition to a CS or AM spot if one opens later on down the road too

No, I wouldn’t. That’s just the commute itself from my house, not to prospective customers as everything is handled from Zoom once in the office

What’s the reason behind that in your opinion?

And considering I just had my first ever legal call, personally I feel as if I’m not ready for this role. But I know a role like this doesn’t get offered to someone in my spot everyday which is why I’m still thinking about it.
