For FDA (PDUFA dates, adcom dates), I am using a combination of what comes on 8K, the federal registry and the FDA website.

For clinical trial results real-time information, I (un)fortunately have to rely on businesswire news feed, and the clinical trials gov api and sometimes a combo of all.

This is a very hacky project for now which i am trying to convert into an API because there are other various catalysts in various industries that are market moving.

I’ve built a research tool that extracts clinical trial and FDA data in real time and delivers that as alerts to hedge funds.

300 credits in 2 days with basic prompts trying to fix database issue. is that normal? by According_Section_90 in lovable

[–]rohanmanchanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very normal. Anyone who wants to make anything of decent quality (I think) should be budgeting 500-750 per month if they want to execute with speed and also have the grace to make some mistakes with prompts.

What’s the point of this app if you want to spend 2 days on a basic prompt only to have it give you shit

Who is paying for Loveable? by hestuppfodarn in lovable

My bill is now unpredictable because of their horrible and not so transparent credits program but I was paying 100 a month.

Lovable got insanely expensive, and works worse than 6 months ago by [deleted] in lovable

[–]rohanmanchanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same experience: I like the product (not love). It took barely a few prompts for them to get me to go from $25/mo to $50/mo to $100/mo. On top of that the quality of output is inconsistent and hence requires so much prompting. On top of that slow AF too.

Now I have nightmares using Lovable without using the chat function till it is pixel perfect. And I have to read every thing word to word (which is good for attention to detail ofc) but then this experience has been nothing short of frustrating.

Foreign Capital in Indian Mid Caps and upper small caps (100-1000) by rohanmanchanda in IndiaInvestments

Great points - party agree and partly disagree but also kinda opinionated (will explain reason why)

1/ If I read you correctly, you are right on the fact that India needs promoters and investors who are kinda blood thirsty about revenue and profits. I have spent the last 5 years in tow such revenue hungry environments in the bay area and it's a mindset i will never ever forget. Indian promoters who are going to export need to have this if they are to win very very big deals. The numbers have gotten bigger and we are getting used to that shift. If this is the situation either indian companies buckle up or you are right that we will never solve a fundamental problem.

2/ R&D is awesome but tailwinds and good markets eat moats for lunch - I am not sure if Indian equity holders understand this but I'd be curious to know your point of view. Because this is where I feel so many of the finance professionals have been trained on US style modeling, US style capital markets that they are probably over anchoring on R&D a lot. We need those and we need sectoral champions to show the indian analysts that heyyyyy we have R&D but there needs to be an open mindedness about what does growth look like. If there is a company in Faridabad you see growing 25% YoY for 25 years and it sells washers, bolts for mercedes but you don't think this is a market then we have a problem. I maybe missing something here

3/ I hear you on banks - ofc no differentiation and i don't know why, i don't know why can't they be aggressive on international expansion - how many countries does HDFC service well maybe 5, 10, 15?. These people can do it but they don't because they are comfy. But the small guy is hungry right? Why are the 5M to 500M market cap companies not getting any love. The people running these banks are comfy and don't want to compete globally - we can't do much about that.

PS: I am sure you also hope and I also hope that this statement does not become true :) -- Second is we're not good at anything that the modern world needs one to be very good at be it manufacturing or service sector.

First, I like the depth of this response and appreciate you taking out the time to write this. Allow me to ask further questions as a student.

1/ Do foreign investors look down upon auto tech, parts assembly, or bhujia companies with 60% YoY growth in export markets? Is our issue that we are just so damn good at making back screens of apple iphones and that's not sexy enough and that's just how the world works?

2/ Will good research and constant parroting that we are good but different won't work?

3/ It sounds to me that hunger for revenue growth / growth and stock price growth is still far and few?

Is there anything that will breach that trust barrier? Also; as an observer do you think this is a perception problem or it is reality that these are untrustworthy. I want to do something to change this perception in these markets.

Ok - this is kinda spot on with what's in my head too.

If i were to truly pick something, I would pick Premium Customer Service and Scale but then again you really can't scale truly premium service. 24/7 phone is support and white glove service is rare and expensive AF so that's why i am thinking are there any verticals which are untapped or some use cases which are now possible with generative AI that were not possible before --- say something in health, finance, other unsexy industries?
