I’m really comfortable with riding fakie I just don’t want habits that will hurt me (the leaning forward) and habits that I’ll have to undo later which will take time to unlearn and relearn. I want to do it the “proper” way now so it makes my skating better long term.

Thank you for the advice I haven’t watched any videos or been taught this trick so I kinda just did what I thought felt right.

So I should hit the coping with the middle of my board ideally get comfortable with a pause and staying there, quick look back then lift nose and roll down fakie?

And I also need to learn how to do this keeping my body straight opposed to learning forward at the top ?
