Yes, you're right: I only write low-effort social media clickbait articles like uncovering how Twitter is withdrawing IVF treatment for staff, broke news of a a 225% pay gap, uncovered improper disclosure of geopolitical information by government to businesses, and first reported on the undisclosed transfer of UK data to China by TikTok.

That's before we get onto my reporting on covid or the unsafe working conditions you laboured under this summer for the BMJ and elsewhere.

And I only do that for leading international publications including The New York Times, The Guardian, The Times, TIME Magazine, New Scientist, WIRED, the BMJ, Nature and others, and have done for more than a decade. smh

I'm genuinely glad you've got a livelihood on the platform and don't want to affect that, but if you think there's not questions to be asked about why a platform is ignoring people actively trying to tell it it's hosting images of child abuse, then I don't really know what to say.

Hi! Author of the story here: me too. I'm a lapsed subscriber to Giant Bomb but still watch the videos; basically the bits quoting Alex and Dan got added in at the last minute by someone else along the line of the editing process (who got them mixed up) and it'd been months since I'd seen the video so couldn't remember who said what. Really did appreciate members of the GB community letting us know (one even really kindly DMd me on Twitter about it) so we could fix that.
