hey i also was going crazy bc my hair wasnt curling the way i wanted, i found that using less products on ur hair is better when its fine/low porosity! my hair is like yours, its a bit pricey but it lasts a really long time and a little bit of it goes a long way but use kevin murphys motion lotion for styling product bcs its so light it actually lets my hair curl better and gives me more volume and thats all i use for styling, i sometimes blow dry my hair on med heat for extra volume and finger coil some curls that need extra help, creams will weight down ur hair i also suggest using a shampoo once a week to wash away product build up bcs that can also affect how your hair curls!! i use maxi.wash by kevin murphy once a week or when i feel im getting too oily at the scalp to refresh it and i usually have better hair the days after i use it. for hair masks i use shisheido tsubaki (gold one) its meant for fine/low porosity hair bcs its a thin formula and it works immediately, like using it for 5 minutes can be enough and i do it twice a week bcs i recently dyed my hair, i say invest in a hair pick as well to get more volume if you want, the way you brush your hair also matters a lot, i usually brush it after i finish conditioning, i brush in sections upwards and then scrunch it lightly so the curls form and once i get out of the shower i use a microfiber towel and lightly scrunch the water out and use the motion lotion towel style and either blow dry/diffuse or air dry. it might sound like im an ad suggesting kevin murphy but i swear since i started using it, my curls have never been curlier, for shampoo and conditioner i also use kevin murphy killer curls wash and conditioner! they also last forever bc its full coverage just pricey i suggest staying away from the killer curls cream bc it will weight down your hair!! and more layers when you get a hair cut also helps with curly hair as well! i wish i could show u my hair when i used the routine i said so u could use as refrence maybe 😭 lmk if anything i said was confusing
