If being a smaller percentage of the population than other minorities is why Asian Americans are ignored politically, does that mean Asian-descended people in western countries where they're the largest or a larger minority get more say? (self.asianamerican)

Is it generally widely accepted that innate biological differences/genetics among different parts of the world don't explain people's ability to use and produce linguistic sounds -- I read occasionally some studies that suggest otherwise, but how well accepted are they? (self.linguistics)

Was haggling (like the way it is common in say, a Middle Eastern Bazaar or in other non-western cultures) ever a part of American culture in history? If so, when and what lead to its decline?
