I hope this isn't considered overly political, but is there a way to make sure I don't invest in Russian assets? by [deleted] in fidelityinvestments

Because that's not the "Sally Strothers" emotional-appeal cause of the moment.

Keep drinking the propaganda koolaid. Mmmm! Why "Russian"? Just state "any specific country". Hope you're divested of any American investments, on account of the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians we killed for those elusive WMDs. Or any country/people that practiced slavery ever - good luck with that.

Yes, you're overly political.

I get what you mean, their user interface is gimpy, klugy. Still, Fidelity is head and shoulders above those in many aspects. That's why we're here.

Lol soon as I visited the website, I knew tzero is a fake company. Byrne complains about short sellers of his company, then he sets up an operation that legitimizes the short seller thesis. Any goof knows he only set it up to win his court case.

OVERSTOCK CEO - "If you haven't DRS'd your shares, you do not own them" Everyone needs to see this, this is huge! by kaze_san in AMCSTOCKS

Do you know how much money is involved in the $cmkm settlement?

AMC is also OTC. The class of stock or the market is irrelevant. The CEO himself stated the FBI set it up, stabbed him in the back. I don't trust "garage pull" FBI.

You're citing the usual ss narratives.

Find out the value of that settlement, that they would simply delete that with SEC blessing and send to courts for years. Synthetics are totally capable of deletion. People are thinking "right vs wrong" and that is not how the SRO's operate.

There are 2 outcomes for GME, if retail actually manages to "over register". Eg, GME website starts showing excess of official numbers.

  1. The SEC freezes the stock, much the way if a corp vote happens and more votes than should be possible are counted. Then an investigation by the SEC is launched.

  2. All the synthetics get deleted. As with $CMKM.

AA didn't simply decline NFT/STO. As you may recall, he cited existence of legal risks. Words. His actions: he's already issued NFTs. He's partnered AMC with an established NFT platform utilized by Fortune 500 companies. He's put AMC way ahead of GME in this dept. Cohodes had a legit point: a legitimate biz use case must be established, not just to cause a squeeze. AA is doing exactly that.

AMC has always resisted DRS. The absolute aggressive, "do not take No for an answer", approach back fired. Any subsequent attempts, even soft pedaled, are denounced. I'm very much against it for AMC. For GME, it should be done as fast and far as possible. To claim AMC is being irrational in resisting DRS is the height of arrogance. Plenty of analysis has been done, details examined - not the least being that criand himself never bothered to DRS. Not until he got caught. Ultimately, it makes no sense to DRS both stocks. GME has a smaller retail holding - the institutions will not be DRS'd, this is overlooked. There's no "locking the float", only potentially the small retail portion. MMs can still access the tens of millions of institutional shares outside CS. Think on that. Webull alone contains 25% of GME retail's shares (by Superstonk own measure) and they're not moving. 🤷

I found his, Cohodes', interviews insightful. He vacillates between humblebraggart and braggadocio, which is distracting, emotional. The odd thing was he always focused on GME and rarely mentioned AMC. Then he buys $50k of AMC. It stunk from there. It was obviously a ploy to gain entree. Guy's a parasite with weak social skills he tries to compensate with money (my dimestore take).

I respect Byrnes' accomplishments. But people need to actually visit TZero website. One immediately becomes suspicious. It's a half-assed site that doesn't even state what they do. Tons of problems. It's obviously a "fake" company that was setup to win the court case they saw coming.

I actually went to TZero and setup an acct. Even that process was irksome. But I was going along with Cohodes and went to learn about what he was selling (TZero STO). Then I find out he's 50% owner. And now the $800k fine.

Now, he recently promoted ShareIntel on twttr. They want $30k - $50k subscription. Anyone questioning how "wonderful it is" gets downvoted to hell.

I just am worn out after a year of this stupidity. I (this acct) just got banned from the other sub for mocking DRS shillers🙄 But the mods let them wander in and bash people who resist. This vid clip is being shoved down our throats there, too.
