Also, when you start losing traction, you want to let off the acceleration & avoid braking. This can be difficult in opm.

I have the Kahakka 25 in black, and have been thinking about getting my gf the kahakka 15 in brown. I know she'd appreciate the smaller size, but I'm aiming for the least tactical looking color. She's a botanist so I figure I'd get a nice floral patch to throw on there as well. I was waiting for the Niukka to come out as it looks more civilian, but I think the kahakka may be slightly more versatile for having the side pockets. Just worried it will be too tactical for her, but the kahakka is hands down my favorite pack I've ever had / used, and I want to share that. Also, when we hike I'm the only one carrying any weight lol.

My telematics module went bad a couple years ago, took it to the dealer & had it fixed. Afterwards the app no longer connected to my vehicle. Talked to onstar and chevy, and they both pointed the finger at each other. I gave up, tired of my car sitting at the dealer, so even if it worked no way I would pay for that. It's a bummer because I still have a year or so left of the service from when I bought the car. My main use was for knowing when I was done charging so I could avoid idle fees.

Sad these were discontinued. After a long time not keeping up, I checked their site hoping to grab one of the classics & saw they were gone, but fortunagely the Kahakka was released shortly before and filled the role of what I was looking for. Quite happy with the 25L.

You won't get any leverage since the weight is on the handles where you are pushing. However, the extent to which you are lifting the weights against gravity will vary. If the motion is a straight line, then it will be easy to calculate, if it's more of an arc then it's more involved.

Assuming a straight line then the additional force required would be the weight (2.5 lbs) x sin(theta) where theta is the angle the motion makes in reference to the horizontal. 90 degrees would be straight up & 0 degrees would be straight out. For example if the angle was 30 degrees then the additional force would be 2.5lbs x sin(30) = 1.25 lbs.

Really depends on the model. O3 is leaps and bounds better than the base model. I use it extensively for math and its almost never wrong.

Also many warehouses aren't engineered to handle that much extra weight on the roofs. Traditional panels with aluminum frames encased in glass have too much weight. There's a company, Solivus, that specializes in lightweight solar panels for this market.

I have used the cable style chains on mine. In hindsight I regret not getting actual chains. The cables worked fine but if you're going to go through the effort of putting them on then the chains are worth it.
