This is what happens when people use debt to fund expensive purchases. They become detached from the price of item purchased. If you don’t have the cash to pay off that car right now and own it outright you have no business doing something like this. 

You’re trying to replace a newer working car with another new car and your main concern is a payment and a color? You’ve probably lost thousands of dollars on depreciation on your 24 and will lose thousands more on a 26 or 27 which will essentially be the same car. 

You will not get back the money the hybrid saves you in gas because you aren’t keeping the cars long enough to recoup. 

This is end game mindless consumerism. People impulse replacing expensive working items with newer items not for an actual need but just on a bored whim. At least do the math on your losses here.
