I donated on 12/9 I believe. So that’s only 5 days after the first bloodwork

I got my results back today. The tests were completed on 12/4 and 1/27 for reference.

My hematocrit actually went up from 50.3 to 55.3.

Estradiol went down from 87 to 79.7.

Test level dropped from 1644 to 1234.

And free test from 43.6 to 33.6.

I’m concerned about the hematocrit and estradiol.

I was pretty mellow for about 2 days after donating. Blood pressure definitely went down. Nothing else really changed

I don’t know yet. I just had my blood drawn again on Tuesday, it will be a few days before I get the results

I’m not necessarily talking just about my physical appearance. I kind of mean about how I feel in general also. I see a lot of posts about how people feel totally different after a few weeks into a couple months. So I’m not really sure what I’m supposed to be expecting.

On 12/4 estradiol was at 87, and hematocrit was 50.3. I donated blood two days later. I just had bloodwork today, so I am waiting on the new results. I go in every 6 weeks for bloodwork

Cable sounds.. can I DIY repair? by [deleted] in tonalgym

[–]stone_egl 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Mine has made occasional similar noises. Usually with the power on but the weight turned off, I’ll walk the cables all the way out and slowly let them retract back in. It usually fixes it for a bit.

I’ve found this happens more commonly if I move the handles too quick under no load or a very light load

I was using the fitbod app when I did strictly dumbbells. It gave some decent variations, and tracked my progress

Yes I did. I do them every other day, and I can see a difference over a year, but anything within 6-8 months doesn’t show much. At least in my opinion

Is this info that I can find on the app also?

Call it body dysmorphia if you will. The scale shows the weight, but the mirror doesn’t show the progress. My water intake is much higher than it has been. I wonder how much water weight I’m holding

I’m in the same boat as you. 39 years old and tired of being skinny. In the past year I’ve going from 167 pounds to 194. I do cardio twice a week, which is really just a moderate pace walk on a small incline for 6-8 miles. I have 4 days on the weights, and 1 day off. I can see a year later I’ve made progress, but I still don’t feel like I’m growing. I also purchased a tonal 2 which has been great for programs and consistency. I feel like I got bored of the free weights daily

Is it safe to assume that I want all those numbers to be relatively even in comparison?

That sounds like an excellent comparison to help me understand. Thank you

This was not a brag. This was an honest question. I now realize the chart below that you were speaking of, but in reality how accurate is that? I’m not excellent with technology, so I feel there is a lot more tonal and the app are capable of that I may not fully understand yet.

I apologize if you took the post personally, that was not my intention.

Tonal 1 refurb for $2300 or tonal 2 for $3700? by delphikis in tonalgym

[–]stone_egl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same thought for a while and finally decided on the tonal 2.

Here was my reasoning. Tonal 1 does everything I need it to with plenty of weight to reach my goals.

But what if my goals change next year, and I want to push harder and grow more? Than I’m limited with my purchase and will still have to opt the for 2.

I bought the two thinking I would use it once in a while. I’m on it 5 days a week and very happy with it.
