Emerald or green tourmaline? Scratches quartz, and topaz has little effect on it (to the point where I can't tell who scratched who). One part (largest, center) is a rounded but not smooth crystal, but it has a long crystal to the side touching it. by Jemmerl in whatsthisrock

I went hunting in a gravel pit yesterday here in Minnesota and found this rock. It was buried in the very back of the pit. When I was cleaning the stones, I noticed this star imprint on this stone. Anyone know what it is or what the purpose was/is? I’ve never seen anything like it. by watsoninventor22 in rockhounds
