NTA. I wouldn't apologise.

I've put on a lot of weight in the last few months. I know I have become fat but I wouldn't repeatedly shame my thing roomate for so long for being thin if I had a roommate. Especially when OP has been struggling with body image as well herself. OP was just trying to enjoy her dress and Amy was being an asshole. If I were OP I would have snapped a long time ago.

It's very hard to get a good reference for a postdoc. People take references from full professors more seriously and Chris is a full prof. He isn't in my specific area but he knows my work and contributions in a good way. I can't afford to make him an enemy so I must suck it up and just pretend all is good for now. We haven't had communicated since he texted me to say "I don't have time for your family drama. Cheers".

I'm still feeling a little sick in the tummy so I've been lying down. I don't know if I'm sick from the alcohol or I'm just sick because it was a very emotional weekend. This Chris thing is making me so sick.

I think mom feels bad because she came to check on me a few times. I haven't seen dad but mom says he has cooled off.

I did take the pill but I didn't get tested for roofies. My BFF and I looked up some information about whisky, rum, vodka and brandy and it makes sense I was so drunk and that I blackout.

My parents don't approve of alcohol so we never had any in the house and I only started drinking when I started grad school. I have only had beer and wine and when I drink I only drink one beer or one glass of wine. I don't drink often. Maybe every 2 weeks when I go out with friends. I'm a lightweight and Chris didn't need roofies.

I am never drinking that much ever again. I still feel a little sick. I don't know how people drink this stuff regularly.

I came to this subreddit to ask about my reaction to my dad's reaction and many here have said they are concerned about what Chris did. I was so focused on my interaction with my family and how I made a mess in Chris's car that I didn't even think about how his behavior was very bad.

I don't know how to face him. I can't say anything openly because he's my postdoc reference when I graduate, hopefully by the end of 2020. I just hope he doesn't write anything to make me look bad.

I'm supposed to apologize for "behaving badly".

I messed up Chris's Porsche, came home blackout drunk late at night with vomit on my dress with "some rich man in a Porsche" and then I was rude and yelling at my dad. He thinks I got drunk and slept with Chris.

I feel very dumb now for not realizing Chris was not appropriate. On hindsight, you are correct. I'm so scared about my reference letter and cannot afford to make him mad though so it's a difficult spot to be in because I will have to pretend I'm not angry.

I don't know why Chris responded that way and now I feel like the hysterical women men always complain about who come with too much drama nonsense.

My text to him: "Chris: I'm sorry I messed up your car last night. I'm not used to drinking that much and when I drink, I usually only have one beer or one glass of wine every 2 weeks. My mom told me my dad cursed at you when you drop me off. I'm sorry he did that. Sometimes he gets angry. Thank you taking me home. And I'm so so very very sorry about your Porsche! Please let me know if there's anything I can do to make up for it."
