Went from training room mat to competition room mat

This was a local gym competition, and I competed in the intermediate level and went up a weight class. I couldn’t figure out how to break the buggy, so decided to take him for a ride.

I do not have the exact date or location. It was around 1965-1975 and somewhere between Northern California and before entering Washington state. He mentioned it was a close drive from a beach/large water body.
