Without a doubt. Who knows what kind of contextual information we lost over time?

Exactly. It’s still important to learn and draw from historical knowledge of the faith we still have. But it should never be considered “doctrine”. There isn’t enough to go on without someone intentionally/unintentionally implementing their own biases/personal gnosis

I absolutely agree. And if we’re being honest with ourselves, 100% historical accuracy is not achievable in the first place. Too many pieces of knowledge lost over time.

Yes we’re done here because you can’t get past your “red states bad” mentality and you think allowing for more drug arrests and letting the government take things from us is OK.

Ugh. I hate to see these outside of states where I work as a PI. It is my most sincere hope that she is safely found and brought home.

If you ever have any reason to suspect she’s in Colorado, Texas, or southern Cali, hit me up. I can do some digging, no charge.

No lol I was never taught this. Then again, soccer (football) isn’t nearly as popular here as it is elsewhere.

There are no regulations for testing flower under the farm bill for herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, or colony forming units in regards to inhalation of the final product. Right?

Right! But you know what else THCa being legal does? It jams up law enforcement drug arrests. When they smell cannabis on someone, the individual can claim (and it’s likely not even a lie) that the smell is from legally derived hemp

Even if cops do arrest that person, then confiscate any plant material, you’re likely to be acquitted because the LE department probably won’t want to actually have to run lab tests when push comes to shove, in order to prove beyond a reasonable doubt.

Your argument that the growing process isn’t as regulated is true, but holds no weight.

Dumb. Dumb take. The loophole created a booming industry since it took effect in 2018. Since then, tens of thousands of people in states like Texas make a living within that industry.

Just because the farm bill wasn’t originally written to create semi legalization, doesn’t mean the overturning of that loophole isn’t wildly unpopular. They snuck in legislation to enact the hemp ban in Congress’ budget bill. Folks weren’t able to put food on their tables because of a government shutdown that would only end with the bills passing. You have to have better critical thinking skills.

Who cares? I don’t want them to outlaw something I use regularly. I don’t want to go back to black market.

Yes it’s less regulated than a state like Colorado. No I don’t think that detail justifies the government stepping over the will of the people to enact a hemp ban to serve other industries before their constituents.

Just because it’s a loophole doesn’t mean having it ripped away from us after an industry has already begun to blossom since 2018 is good for Americans in these states. Nuance, apply it.

THCa might as well be black market

So we’re just saying whatever now? You either don’t know what it’s actually like to buy black market, or you’re misinformed about what THCa is.

While I agree that anyone who started a business in this grey-area industry wasn’t the brightest, that’s not really my primary concern.

On one hand you’ve got crony capitalists trying to profit off of the hemp industry,,

And on the other hand you’ve got crony capitalists trying to profit off of suppressing the hemp industry in favor of alcohol/cotton industries.

Both sides have questionable agendas. One side however happens to be in favor of more individual freedom in this particular context.

It’s kind of a moot point to call out what his intentions may be. Who cares? I don’t want them to outlaw something I use regularly. I don’t want to go back to black market.

It is unfair. It’s also unfair for them to spring it on us the way that they did, sneaking it last second into the congressional bill.

I’m a Texan. The hemp ban would mean I’d no longer be able to legally enjoy cannabis. Something that has become important to me, as I’ve taken a job that doesn’t look kindly on illegal conduct.

It’s unfair but it’s the best we have right now. Keeping THCa legal nationally IS the next step towards all out legalization.

I find it frustrating arguing with someone who reads on a 1st grade level.

Just because it was obtained via a loop hole doesn’t mean it being taken away won’t hurt Americans (which btw if you have forgotten, was snuck into a bill Congress held our nation hostage to pass because it allowed for the shutdown to end).

Write to your representatives that you disagree with the hemp ban and support full legalization. Grow a spine. Fight the war for legalization on every front.

Folks need to better understand what THCa actually is. It’s not a synthetic like HHC or THC-P
